COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle. Clear golden/amber with a frothy, slowly diminishing head. Aroma is toasted, intense herbal, only light citrusy and has an almost dry coffe-ish or light kerosene touch. Very intriguing. Dry mouthfeel, relative light body, slightly sweet malt profile with a light to medium bitter but bonedry finish. Realy refreshing, a thirst-quencher with a very interesting hop-profile. Thumbs up for HBC 436!

02-SEP-2012, bottle @home, from "Fish & Beer". Hazy golden with high tan, lasting head. Very hoppy nose with grass, grape fruit and pine. Very malty as well with caramel. Finish is very bitter. Fantastic APA. Really fresh. The three experiments are very similar.

Hazy amber beer, good white head. Palate is smooth and semi dry with a carbonated nip. A little creamy malt. A mild hop this 436 - like 517 but more mellow. Little mint, mild lime and a trace of tangerine. Finishes semi dry. A light and pleasant pale ale.

On tap at Henrik, Bergen. Pours a clear and golden orange colour with a off-white and creamy head. The aroma is sweet and fruity and filled with buble gum, peaches, citrus, and fruity hops. Sweet and nice. I also find fruity hops in the flavour along with grapefruit, some wet cardboard and a dry ending with resin. Has a soft and slick mouth feel, and a medium bitterness. Well-balanced, fruity and nice.
