3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
[Courtesy of Papsoe, Thanks!] Dark orange colored with hazy appearance. Big yellow head. Rich grassy-lemony Yankee aroma with strong bitterness, flowers and toffee also come up nicely. Medium bodied. Flavor is also soft with hoppy flowers and nice caramel, aftertaste dries strongly with bitterness. Very good IPA, best one from Denmark, so far.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle, at the European Beer Festival, Copenhagen. A hazy, orange beer with a beige head. Nice and fruity nose with piney and resiny hops and a good maltyness in the background. Intensely bitter in the mouth, with citrus, pineapple, resin and a malty sweetness. Almost astringent bitter in the mouth, full-bodied. Long finish with focus on the hops. A nice beer of moderate ABV, but probably too much on the hoppy side. (080912)

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Light amber with a lasting off-white head. Grassy and fruity aroma with a touch of apple peel. Dry and bitter, mostly grassy hop flavour. A sweet honey-like note in the finish. Somewhat disappointing

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught@EBF 2008. Dark copper brown, thin beige head. Fruity hop nose, oranges, peaches and melon. Taste is fairly dry malty with a strong, but not too intense hop bitterness. Notes of caramel and spice. Dry bitter finish. A straightforward and well-made IPA.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
[on tap at EBF 2008]
Floral and citrus and apricot hops aroma with nice caramel and a little butterscotch oak. Brilliant dark orange with a beige ring and dots. Quite bitter and not quite balanced by fresh hops flavour and not quite caramelly. Thin to medium body with moderate carbonation and moderately bitter ending.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle at EBF 08. Cloudy amber. Slightly sour IPA. Good hop. Bit thin and bleach on aroma. It’s ok, but just a little too green apple.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
EBF2008. I had this twice during the festival, not on purpose. So even if I might not have been the most sober person Friday night, it’s really Ok to compare the two ratings, that are close to exactly the same! It’s a nice copper-red beer with a creamy head. The aroma has nice hoppy notes of spruce, pine, peach and other fruits. The same goes for the flavour, where the hops are nicely balanced by caramel sweetness. It has a light bitterness and some dry citrus in the finish.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sampled at European Beer Festival 08 in Copenhagen. Thin, off-white foam over a dark-brown body. Lots of hop resin to the nose. Rich flavour of mandarin, peaches and sappy oranges leading to a lingering bitter finish. Maybe a bit to sharp in the mouth, otherwise an IPA to be proud of (12.09.2008).
