English: It is said that behind every great man is an equally great - and above all - wise woman.
Now this can also be said of the beer world. Perhaps our most famous beer, Hr. (Mr.) Frederiksen is a powerful dude, who enjoys nothing more than to stand and admire his own muscles. Fru (Mrs.) Frederiksen however is a wise woman who knows perfectly well that it is possible to achieve almost as much without using anywhere near as much force.
This Lady is just as powerful but is somewhat toned down compared to the Lord. Slightly sweeter and less smokey although with plenty of black malt, chocolate malt and roasted barley she is no complete sissy - the US Centennial hops with its 60+ IBUs reminds you of this fact.
Bid the mistress welcome - she is here to stay.
Ingredients: Water, barley malt, wheat malt, oats, hops and yeast

Pours a rich burnt umber color with a finger of khaki foam. Lots of earthy roast and bakers chocolate on the nose... the palate follows with some nice dark dried fruit, more chocolate and a heavy roast that leans towards the burnt spectrum. Nice bit of bitterness creeps in with the long roasted finish.

Dark with white head. Mild vegemite smell (extract). Taste is savoury roast. One dimensional. Nice finish of bitterness. Overall, not a mind blowing stout but obviously crafted with love.

Pours dark brown with two fingers of tan head with a little lacing. Smells of mellow malts. Tastes of bitter and malts with a hint of hops. A little watery on the palate with a nice long bitter.

Bottle. Pours black with a small but dense beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate and coffee. Taste of roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, some light fruits and lots of hops. It has a roasty aftertaste which is bother bitter and very dry. Not bad, but I prefer Hr. Frederiksen.

Nice complex aroma of hops and medium dark chocolate. The taste also contains chocolate and hops but also a little burnt coffee. I would recommend to drink this one fresh so you dont loose the hops character.

Pours dark brown, almost black with light beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee and chocolate. Flavour of roasted malt, burnt sugar, hoppy bitterness and coffee. This is why basics matter.

Slutsats: jo, man tackar!
