COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: It is said that behind every great man is an equally great - and above all - wise woman.
Now this can also be said of the beer world. Perhaps our most famous beer, Hr. (Mr.) Frederiksen is a powerful dude, who enjoys nothing more than to stand and admire his own muscles. Fru (Mrs.) Frederiksen however is a wise woman who knows perfectly well that it is possible to achieve almost as much without using anywhere near as much force.
This Lady is just as powerful but is somewhat toned down compared to the Lord. Slightly sweeter and less smokey although with plenty of black malt, chocolate malt and roasted barley she is no complete sissy - the US Centennial hops with its 60+ IBUs reminds you of this fact.
Bid the mistress welcome - she is here to stay.
Ingredients: Water, barley malt, wheat malt, oats, hops and yeast

50cl Bottle from De Molen. Pitch black, small beige brown head. Aroma of lovely hard roasted malts, lots of chocolate, light smoke/tar, a hint of liquorice. Flavour is sweet and bitter, hard roasted malts, chocolate, lots of hops, earthy liquorice in the bitter finish. Medium to fullbodied, soft and creamy mouthfeel. Fantastic stout, exactly how I like them.

0,5 l bottle, bought at PreZBF Festival, Belgium.
Poured black with a fantastic foamy, beige head with small bubbles. Deep roasted aroma with a ton of dried fruits, fine espresso-like coffee and molasses, caramel, dark chcolates and a lurking hop perfume. Medium bodied stout witha well rounded, smooth mouthfeel. Flavor is full of coffee, roasted grains, dark chocolates and tobacco, some sweet molasses, nice hops in the finish. Roasted coffe-like, dry aftertaste. Very pleasant.

Very tasty stuff. Let it warm up a tad out of the fridge. With aggressive pouring I got a medum sized, thick, creamy, tan head that quickly subsided and no lace. Color is an opaque brown black. Aroma is cocoa, dark malt, a bit roasty and fruity. Flavor is like nose, bittersweet and alcoholic. Body is full and round and carbonation is on the light side. Finish is like flavor and has good lenght. Very rich beer; good for sipping.

500 ml. Opaque with a lasting quarter inch of spongy foam. Nose is scorched blackberry, charred coffee, ash and dark chocolate. Flavors of dry earthy cocoa, berries with cream, ash, dirty orange, dark coffee and plum. Medium-heavy body has medium carbonation and is slightly sticky, but finishes dry with acidity from both hops and roast.

500ml bottle from Archive. Pours as black as the deepest darkest depths of space and carries a good crown of coffee coloured foam. Bitter chocolate and roasted malt aroma. Fills the mouth with bitter liquorice and faint vanilla flavour. Long lingering finish on the palate.
