COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: It is said that behind every great man is an equally great - and above all - wise woman.
Now this can also be said of the beer world. Perhaps our most famous beer, Hr. (Mr.) Frederiksen is a powerful dude, who enjoys nothing more than to stand and admire his own muscles. Fru (Mrs.) Frederiksen however is a wise woman who knows perfectly well that it is possible to achieve almost as much without using anywhere near as much force.
This Lady is just as powerful but is somewhat toned down compared to the Lord. Slightly sweeter and less smokey although with plenty of black malt, chocolate malt and roasted barley she is no complete sissy - the US Centennial hops with its 60+ IBUs reminds you of this fact.
Bid the mistress welcome - she is here to stay.
Ingredients: Water, barley malt, wheat malt, oats, hops and yeast

Nice complex aroma of hops and medium dark chocolate. The taste also contains chocolate and hops but also a little burnt coffee. I would recommend to drink this one fresh so you dont loose the hops character.

500 ml bottle poured into a snifter. Pours a thick black with a khaki colored head of foam that fizzles out pretty quickly. The atom a has roast, anise, ash, and a bit of licorice. The taste is a dry sweetness with a bit of roasty character. Some leather comes out. Thicker body and mouthfeel. Despite the fizzy head, the carbonation seems to be more on the low end.

esox (1014) - Oulu, FINLAND - MAY 12, 2014
Bottled. Black Beer, creamy tan head. Roasted grainy, licoricy notes, a touch of caramelly biscuit aroma. Fruity fermentation aromas. Sturdy, almost creamy maltiness, ripe fruitiness, sweetly herbal hops, dry and resiny bitter finish with coffee and dark chocolate. Velvety, very soft texture, good carbonation. Very good stout.

Dark black colour, beige head. Roasted aroma with notes of coffee and dark chocolate, also a sour touch. Not very well balanced. Maybe this bottle was over the top.

Marstonlad (391) - Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 30, 2014
UPDATED: MAY 1, 2014 Bottle from Ölhus Stockholm, Helsinki. Pours black with a head that leaves plenty of lacing. Aroma of roasty maltiness, coffee, dark chocolate and some licorice; quite rich. Taste is dryish, medium to heavy roasty and also has some balancing bitterness in the finish. The robust malt character makes the taste varied. It is complemented by some hoppy notes. The palate is medium to heavy bodied, sticky. Nice rich stout where malts dominate and hops add depth.
