COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Opaque black beer, thick brown head. Nice dark malt nose, coffee, seltzer minerals and fruit too! Airy semi soft palate, a little dry. Dark malt, bitterish coffee, subtle red fruit, hop bitterness - grapefruit. Sweeter fruits before the finish. Oddly not much rye spice. Bitter grapefruit aftertaste.

Tasty and exciting stout with rye malt and with some pleasant chocolate, smoke and raisin notes. The apparent acidity pulls down the rating a notch.
