COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Tasty and exciting stout with rye malt and with some pleasant chocolate, smoke and raisin notes. The apparent acidity pulls down the rating a notch.

Bottle from Systembolaget. As black as it gets when it pours into the glass with a nice brown head. A smokey aroma with a lot of chocolate. A chocolate and malty taste that hangs on pretty long. A very good beer.

Bottle. Bready, dark choclaty, quite vinous, creamy. Well crafted, but maybe a bit too light too live up to everything that it tries to be...

Garlic_of_Doom (448) - SWEDEN - JUN 8, 2012
Bottle from Systembolaget. Pours pitch black with a 2 finger brown head. Aroma: Chocolate, some hops perhaps? Taste: Lots of malt. Chocolate as well as salty/soy notes that hangs on for quite a while. Looong bitter aftertaste with some hops. Really nice and easy to drink, a bit velvety in the texture.
