500 ml bottle. Brown/Amber body with a big, dense, creamy tan head. Aroma is a bit mild, mainly caramel with a hint of fruit. The flavor was a positive surprise, nothing really extraordinary really, just malt, fruit, bitter and some caramel – but very smooth and well balanced. Some warming alcohol feeling as well.

Bottle@yngwie’s. Cream-ish beige head. Body is unclear, dark brown with a reddish hue. Moderate aroma of medium sweet, dark malts. Fine notes of chocolate, creamed coffee, prunes, raisins, and brown sugar. Delicate sweet malt flavor, added by tones of mild cocoa, milk-chocolate and dried dark fruits. Dryish and dusty mouthfeel. Well-bodied. Rounded finish with notes of mild spices. A pretty good one, providing the Christmas feel.

Bottle 50 cl. Large beige thick foamy head that really lasted. Good display of lacework. Dark mahogany color. Aroma of mild toasted malt, light fruity notes, hints of spice. Over the palate the toasted malty notes almost becomes roasted like feel with a hint of dark fruit and light alcoholic touch. Medium bodied with an average carbonation. Moderated sweet flavor with some roasted bitterness to counter the sweetness. Light lingering roasted malty sweetness to finish this beer off. Nice tasteful X-mas indeed.

Bottle. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate and black coffee. Dark brown colour with soft light brown head. Flavour of dark chocolate and spices. Dry and bitter finish, quite unusual for a Christmas brew.

yngwie (9175) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUL 1, 2010
Bottle. A hazy brownish red beer topped by a finger-thick beige head. Too weak on the nose I think, with a delicate scent of chocolate, brown sugar, coffee and some dried fruits. The flavor has chocolate in the back, with roaste malts, prunes, some dark sugar and a hint of spices. Dry and full-bodied. The finish has a pleasnt bitterness in addition to caramel and chocolate. A beer that starts rarther boring, but grows on every sip. Well suited as a Christmas beer, but far from the best from Amager. 100129

Bottle.
Pours light hazy amber-brown with a small, creamy, beige head. Lovely duration. Aroma has sweet caramel, light Belgian sugar and lots of apple. Some slight cinnamon and cocoa. Medium carbonation, fine spicy dry mouthfeel. Flavour is dry, lots of cocoa-powder, lightly roasted, soft sweetness. Light coriander. Quite dry and spicy (mostly in dryness, not in flavour)
