Small sample from bottle at Camping Ratebeer ’14. Pours hazy dark brown with a medium tan head. Taste has some roasted malts, chocolate and a little bit of coffee. Taste has quite a lot of chocolate, some roasted malts and a medium bitter finish. Medium body and carbo. Nice stuff.

Hyffsat stor beska. En lite märklig eftersmak av stekt lök. Men helt klart en bra IS.

Bottle. Chocolate fudge and pine aroma. Black with small head. Lightly sweet dark chocolate and moderately bitter herbal pine flavor. Light body for an imperial stout. Quite tasty and nicely drinkable.

500ml bottle. Pitch black body with a huge compact mocca head that leaves tons of lacing. Chocolate and coffee is the first thing that hits the nose, followed by roasted malt and dried plums. Flavor is roasted, with a distinct bitterness, burnt coffee liquorice and white pepper. Finishes off a bit too bitter for me.

500 ml bottle. Black color with nice beige brown head. Aroma is roasted malty, chocolate, coffee, raisins, light hoppy. Taste is the same as aroma, beginning sweet, malty dark chocolate, becoming bitter, with coffee and some hoppy bitterness. Medium body, oily, soft carbonation

Big roasted chocolate aroma, with some underlying dark fruit. Pours an opaque black with a thin dark tan head. Not much on the initial flavor, just a bit of roast, which then explodes into the finish of coffee and dark fruit, with a long lingering roast flavor that gets stronger. Overall a solid Imperial Stout.

500ml Bottle - Black with a tan head. Plain chocolate, liquorice and raisins in the aroma. Roasted malt, coffee, chocolate and some slightly soapy hops in the taste. The finish is roasted, chocolatey and fairly bitter.

Bottle: Oily black with a thick, quick, dark tan head. Aroma is smoky dark chocolate... Flavour is cocoa, chocolate malt, a bit of peppery heat. Noticable alcohol bitter. Really comes to life if left to breathe andsipped at a little below room temp... Excellent.

I dig both of these breweries, and this was STILL a better than expected treat. Pours a decadent oil slick color with dark chocolate head. Good legs. Aroma is faaantastic (9.5) of heavily roasted malts, dark bitter chocolate, earthy hops, some coffee. Flavor is a little bit more bitter, not bad. More bitter chocolate, very light smoke. Hoppy too. Body is obsenely smooth yet thick...surprising for the relatively lower abv for this beer. I’d get again in a heartbeat."
