COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottled:
Pours black with a rich, brown head.
Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, alcohol and a litle bit of butter.
Flavor is lots of roasted malt, some chocolate, ash and alcohol. Growing bitterness in the finish.
The growing bitterness gets a little bit too much in the long run. I found this beer to be quite unbalanced.

Cunningham (4292) - Halden, NORWAY - JUL 2, 2014
Appearance: A complete absence of light on the other side of this one. A nice creamy beige head that leaves an ok lacing.
Aroma: Rich chocolate and mild roasted.
Palate: Full thick oily body. Slightly sweet with a moderate bitterness. Soft carbonation. Creamy texture.
Taste: Rich chocolate, coffee, licorice and mild roasted.
Overall impression: Smooth, tasty and balanced! Highly recommended!
