COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

38cl, new exclusive Danish brew Anno 2012, thx to Jeppe!, complex Stout, roasted/vinous and slightly woody/spicy, heavy, yet balanced, cloudy, nearly no head, very good brew, yet very expensive!

UPDATED: OCT 28, 2012 Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pitch black pour with a small light cocoa head which lasts the duration. Nose is damn appealing. Loads of char, cocoa, milk, berries and spice. To be specific, it smells exactly like dark Lindt chocolate with blueberries through it. Fantastic. Taste is front up with spices and raspberries, chocolate comes through mid palate and rounds it out to the finish very nicely. Finishes very milk chocolate like and almost creamy. Full mouth feel with a bit of spritz to it which makes drinking this so easy. Perfect. Amazing beer

Bottle: Thank Papsø: Big brown head, disappears slow on top of a black colored beer. Smell filled trash bags, light cherry, sweeter roasted malts, roasted malts, vinous notes, red fruit notes, overripe red fruit, yeasty wood, light hoppy citrus and candle wax sweetness. Taste roasted malts, roasted barleys, light red fruit like cherry, grass, spicy wood, light chocolate drenched wood notes, some liquorice hay, more cherry notes, some berries and some yeasty bitter tones. Aftertaste of red wine, light alcohol, light spicy, burnes woddy barleys and some bbq fume malts. Low carbo, soft mouthfeel, full body and a light creamy texture. An absolute decent beer.

Bottled:
Pours black with a small but creamy head. Aroma is toffee, red berries, red wine and a little bit of roasted malt. Flavour is lots of red wine, some toffee and char coal leading to a somewhat harsh finish. Really good!

Black color; brown creamy head. Decent aroma of roasted malt, wood, whiskey. Good body strength, strong roasted malt flavor, some dark chocolate, vanilla, some liquorice; there is a high alcohol perception that makes think of whiskey, and a light fruity and sour trace from the red wine. The final is also lightly cheesy.
Good.

Bottle. Black with a light brown head. Aroma: licorice and chocolate, alcohol, red onions, acetone, oak. Taste: sweet, chocolate and licorice, alcohol, hazel nuts, oak and red wine, dry finish. Full-bodied. Unbalanced, this is boozy in a similar way to some 17-18% brews, which is quite unexpected. Like the other versions better.

Bottle, bought @ Fish’n’Beer, Cph.
Pours completely opaque black with a small, staying, creamy, beige head. Aroma has lots of oak, red wine, grapey, quite tart, coffee, chocolate. Medium to low carbonation, light dry and quite creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has lots of roasted malts, coffee, some toffee, grapey tart. Lots of oak dryness. Feels a bit over-aged, but certainly not the worst oak version of Hr. Frederiksen.

Bottle. Black with a small tan head. Vinous aroma and taste with wood, licorice, light roasted malt, red berries. The taste was a bit strange. Not a bad beer but far from the best one out there.
