COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Nyd Hr. Frederiksen – Swedish style.

Smagenoter:
I denne udgave fremstår Hr. Frederiksen stadig i denne version.

Sample at Malmö beer- and whiskey festival. Chocolate, coffee and some dried fruit, a hint of the red wine can be picked up. Awsome but not excellent.

Black Color with a nice big mocha head. Aroma of red wine is apparent from the moment you start to pour, plus some roast, coffee, sweet fruit (though that may be the red wine again) and chocolate. Taste roasty and burnt, fruit and sweetness noticeable but not overwhelming. Based on the aroma I was expecting something sweeter, and I’m glad to see that it still very much like an Imperial Stout. Very full and heavy, with a burnt finish.

Bottle generously shared during the post-grand tasting muff party at RBWG. Nice luscious red wine notes. Some wee heavy features: peaty with sweet melted butterscotch under the dark chocolate. Dry port and oak in the finish. Really cool.

(Bottle) Black colour with dense, pale brown head. Roasted, malty nose with strong black coffee, liquorice, a touch of tar, oak wood, red wine and a slight red berry acidity. Roasted, malty taste with black coffee, liquorice, dark chocolate, oak wood, red fruit and a slight red wine tannin acidity in the finish. Full body, with a smooth and rounded mouthfeel. The wine gives it a slightly sweeter taste than the original. Interesting wine barrel aged version. I prefer the original version, but this was very nice.
