COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Nyd Hr. Frederiksen – Swedish style.

Smagenoter:
I denne udgave fremstår Hr. Frederiksen stadig i denne version.

Thanks to either blutt59 or bu11zeye for sharing this at my pre-BTBF tasting. Dark brown to black pour with a tan head. The aroma is full of grapes and oak with some roasted malt thrown in. The flavor is similar. The chocolate and roasted malt come through up front, but there is some light dark fruit and oak also coming through. Thick mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Bottle. A dense, tan head of moderate size sits on top of a dark brown to black body. Rather vinous aroma, with lots of chocolate and coffee, roasted malts and molasses hints. More like dried fruits than red wine actually. Surprisingly thin on the palate, I remember Hr Frederiksen to be more full-bodied than this. Some warmth. Lots of coffee, chocolate and roasted malts in the flavor. Lasting finish with some warmth but mostly it’s influenced by the dark malts. Nice indeed, but prefer the regular edition. 130504
