English: Even when just poured into the glass, you feel straight away that Mr. Frederiksen is a master of potency and great personality. Pitch-black as Mr. Frederiksen’s humor, this American style Imperial Stout has a dense and creamy, light brown head that leaves an abundance of lacing on the glass as it reluctantly settles.
We are happy to admit that we have gone slightly berserk with malt in this beer, eight different varieties were used including black and roasted malts that give this beer its color and almost extreme density - this is almost a meal in a bottle. The bitterness is also supplied by the roasted malts backed by the American Centennial hops.
Mr. Frederiksen is an experience to be savoured he should be enjoyed slowly throughout the course of an entire evening where you can warm yourselves by his alcohol and provocative charms.
We have named this beer after a good friend without whose wonderful support and assistance Amager Brewery would not be where it is today.
Ingredients: Water, barley malt, wheat malt, oats, hops and yeast

Butelka 50cl. OCZY : piwo w szklance jest czarne i nieprzejrzyste. Pod światłem widać natomiast ciemnobrązowy kolor. Piana jest średniej wielkości o kolorze jasnobrązowym. Piana jest trwała. NOS : na pierwszy niuch wyczuwam kawę rozpuszczalną, czekoladę, ciasto kakaowe, chrupki serowe, skórkę pompelo, glina. W dali wyczuwam aromaty podobne do porto, suszonych śliwek i rodzynek, trochę wanilii i orzechów. USTA : piwo ma niskie nasycenie. Tłuste i geste o konsystencji podobnej do soku bananowego.

Pours pitch black with a big brown head. Roasted malt, yeasty, dark fruits, cocoa, aroma. Flavor is light to moderate bitter with average duration, yeasty, roasted malt, sweet, cocoa. Texture is a bit light for a 10.5 Imp Stout, but very well balanced.

Black color, small brown head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, roasted malt, dried fruits. Taste has roasted malt, licorice, coffee, dark chocolate, hint of smoke - dry sweet taste with bitter finish and roasty aftertaste. Full body and soft carbonation, light alcohol burn. Nice warming imperial stout.

bottle. aroma of coffee, chocolate, roasted malt, dark fruits. Taste is somewhat burnt, hops, chocolate bitterness in the beginning, then sweeter. A bit too much of a alcohol taste though, especially in the finish.

Bottle from SlovakSniper thanks Pat! Black pour with creamy slightly tanned head. Aroma is anise, coffee roast, smoke, there is a sharp oak/nutty presence also. Taste is light sweetness up front, next up is some bitter roast mixed in with anise, a bit thin for an impy, finish is bitter anise almost a bit harsh with a bit of warmth from the booze. Pretty darn good, it’s a it harsh at first but once it warms it seems to smooth out.

500ml bottle from the brewery. Pours dark viscose releasing an intense aroma that settles after being poured. Soft toast and roast tastes, caramel, nuts, malts added with the hop. Would prefer a tiny less sweet character. This seems like a well balanced impy, that will age wonderfully. The sugars will settle down, the taste will evolve and aroma will have time to multiply. Although a wonderful Imperial Stout when served young, off the shelf. Wonder how my Buffalo Trace editions will compare...
