English: Even when just poured into the glass, you feel straight away that Mr. Frederiksen is a master of potency and great personality. Pitch-black as Mr. Frederiksen’s humor, this American style Imperial Stout has a dense and creamy, light brown head that leaves an abundance of lacing on the glass as it reluctantly settles.
We are happy to admit that we have gone slightly berserk with malt in this beer, eight different varieties were used including black and roasted malts that give this beer its color and almost extreme density - this is almost a meal in a bottle. The bitterness is also supplied by the roasted malts backed by the American Centennial hops.
Mr. Frederiksen is an experience to be savoured he should be enjoyed slowly throughout the course of an entire evening where you can warm yourselves by his alcohol and provocative charms.
We have named this beer after a good friend without whose wonderful support and assistance Amager Brewery would not be where it is today.
Ingredients: Water, barley malt, wheat malt, oats, hops and yeast

Bottle 50 cl, batch 441, BBE 5/2013. Poured pitch black with a thin bubbly tanned head. Loads of cold coffee hits you as one pours it in the glass. Burnt wood and dark chocolate also in aroma. As it gets warmer notes of milk chocolate is noticeable. Nice so far. Flavour rich and is filled with dark chocolate and roasted coffee. You can taste a mild hoppyness in aftertaste also. Lots of slighlty burnt wood and cold coffee in finish. Felt perhaps a bit different than a regular IS. Quite sweet finish also. Pleasant and smooth to drink, no signs of the high ABV.

Szinte már fekete sör, jó kis barna habbal, ami hosszan bírja a tetején. Csokis-kávés, kicsit gyümölcsös, citrusos íz és illat tökéletes harmóniája jellemzi, egy élmény a fogyasztása! Bárhol, bármikor!

Pitch black color, big brown head with good retention. Lots of lacing. Aroma of dark chocolate, light smokiness, some fruitiness, citrus. Also, it’s surprisingly boozy, which almost completely ruins the aroma. Taste of dark chocolate, lots of sweetness, berries, coffee and again lots of alcohol. Finish is quite bitter. Medium to full body, soft carbonation. Not as full and silky as the best ones can be, but it’s still very hard to drink, due to boozy feel.

Aromat: niezbyt przyjemny już od początku. Lukrecja, landrynki, kapusta i wyraźna nuta alkoholowa, rozpuszczalnikowa.
