English: Even when just poured into the glass, you feel straight away that Mr. Frederiksen is a master of potency and great personality. Pitch-black as Mr. Frederiksen’s humor, this American style Imperial Stout has a dense and creamy, light brown head that leaves an abundance of lacing on the glass as it reluctantly settles.
We are happy to admit that we have gone slightly berserk with malt in this beer, eight different varieties were used including black and roasted malts that give this beer its color and almost extreme density - this is almost a meal in a bottle. The bitterness is also supplied by the roasted malts backed by the American Centennial hops.
Mr. Frederiksen is an experience to be savoured he should be enjoyed slowly throughout the course of an entire evening where you can warm yourselves by his alcohol and provocative charms.
We have named this beer after a good friend without whose wonderful support and assistance Amager Brewery would not be where it is today.

Aromat: czekoladowe praliny, kawa i paloność.

Old notes. Bottle. Its a nice stout that gets distracted by an artificial sweet minty note resembling tooth paste. Too bad.

0,5 bottle purchased at The Hoppy Imports in Greece and aged a few months in my cellar. Pours a very oily black color, tick and nice coffee-frappe head. Nose: fresh notes of roasted coffee beans, tons of mocha, chocolate, some milk as well. Very charming. Mouth: ashes of burnt malt, very bitter overall feel of burnt cereals, some red fruit and a final (tart) bitter note.

Pours pitch black with huge huge brown creamy head. Aroma is citric hoppy, flowery with a good touch of caramel sweetness, coffee, roasted malt and chocolate. Soft, creamy and full mouthfeel. Flavour of coffee, liquorice, roasted malts and hops. Sweet into a dry bitter finish.

Wow. Så fik jeg smagt Hr. Frederiksen. Meget fylig øl, med høj bitterhed. Kan på det varmeste anbefales.

Purchased July during 2015 MLB All Star week at Party Source in Kentucky. Enjoyed October 20, 2015 in a Hopsplam tulip/snifter. Look - Thin lighter tan head with medium bubbles is slow to build and quick to dissipate. Blotchy lacing at best. Dark brown body. A lot of small particles of sediment dispersed. Smell - Chocolate. Musty hops. Coffee. Char. Sweet. Taste - Bitter. Coffee. Chocolate. Raspberry. Feel - Dry. Not as heavy as I would hope. Sediment does give a chalky texture to it. Overall - I have tried Hr, Brunch Weasel, and Hr Brunch. Brunch Weasel is by far the best (and its family of beers). Hr was slightly better by itself over Hr Brunch.

Bottle 0,5 at home. Dark brown with light brown head, lasting and sticky. Aroma malt, hops, complex and nice. Silky, sweet, dark butter, boozy. Not too sweet and not too biiter, good balance.
