English: Even when just poured into the glass, you feel straight away that Mr. Frederiksen is a master of potency and great personality. Pitch-black as Mr. Frederiksen’s humor, this American style Imperial Stout has a dense and creamy, light brown head that leaves an abundance of lacing on the glass as it reluctantly settles.
We are happy to admit that we have gone slightly berserk with malt in this beer, eight different varieties were used including black and roasted malts that give this beer its color and almost extreme density - this is almost a meal in a bottle. The bitterness is also supplied by the roasted malts backed by the American Centennial hops.
Mr. Frederiksen is an experience to be savoured he should be enjoyed slowly throughout the course of an entire evening where you can warm yourselves by his alcohol and provocative charms.
We have named this beer after a good friend without whose wonderful support and assistance Amager Brewery would not be where it is today.

Bottle at home, 3rd October 15. Pours black, looks thin for the ABV. Nice head. Aroma is hops, ash. Taste is bitter, ash, great, not too sweet, hops, burnt malts, tobacco, fantastic impy

Bottle. Buxton Tap. Clear, very dark brown. Film, and a few bubbles of tan head. Lots of legs. Moves slowly round the glass. Nose has wood. Chocolate. Blackcurrant. Liquorice. Glue. Thick malts. Big hop. Taste is silky sweet, then big, tarry, acrid, roast bitter. Big hop bitterness too. Wow. This is bitter. Lots of chew on the palate. Some booze, although maybe not to the tune of 10.5%. Finishes long, roasty, boozy bitter. Big and daft and rough as you like.

Bottle, 0.50l & Hoppiness beer stop, shared with colleagues. Pours pitch black with large creamy brown head and soft visible carbonation. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, dark fruits, leather and alcohol. Taste starts with sweet and smooth roasted malt and chocolate, follows by licorice, herbs and dark fruits, mouthfeel is warming alcoholic, while finish is moderate bitter. Full body, thick texture and soft carbonation in palate. Still surprisingly drinkable despite the high ABV...

UPDATED: SEP 20, 2015 Pours black opaque colour with foamy stable brown head. Aroma with mild low detectable alcohol, hints of chocolate, coffe, mocha, vanilla and with some fruity notes. Flavor is similar: alcohol is very well hidden, with coffee, chocolate, vanilla and roasted like malt sweetness, oily smooth (oat) and with slight fruity note of cennential hop in the end. Malt sweetness is medium, hop bitterness also, body is sticky, carbonation low. For sure another very good brew from this brewery, for me much better then their imperial stout from sinner series Pride.
