COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: Even when just poured into the glass, you feel straight away that Mr. Frederiksen is a master of potency and great personality. Pitch-black as Mr. Frederiksen’s humor, this American style Imperial Stout has a dense and creamy, light brown head that leaves an abundance of lacing on the glass as it reluctantly settles.
We are happy to admit that we have gone slightly berserk with malt in this beer, eight different varieties were used including black and roasted malts that give this beer its color and almost extreme density - this is almost a meal in a bottle. The bitterness is also supplied by the roasted malts backed by the American Centennial hops.
Mr. Frederiksen is an experience to be savoured he should be enjoyed slowly throughout the course of an entire evening where you can warm yourselves by his alcohol and provocative charms.
We have named this beer after a good friend without whose wonderful support and assistance Amager Brewery would not be where it is today.
Ingredients: Water, barley malt, wheat malt, oats, hops and yeast

Bottle shared by ygtbsm94. Thanks Brad! Batch 5 Bottle 396 / 400 Best before 05 / 2010 The beer appears near black, with a quarter inch of beige head that leaves a fair bit of lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of smoke, roast, and chocolate. The flavor is a little sweet, with notes of chocolates and roast. Alcohol presence is discernible, especially in the finish. Overall, a pretty decent beer and representation of the style. A small serving was just right. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 03-30-2011

Pours almost black with a medium head. Intense roasted malts, rich chocolate, black coffee, plums and cherries, and booze. Full bodied, average carbonation, very creamy, and an astringent finish. Alcohol presence blends well but is easily noticed.

Bottle courtesy of Reuben( Desverger) cheers! Black pour with a beige head. Aromas of creamy coffee, milk chocolate and vanilla. Flavours of chocolate ice cream, dark chocolate and sweet malt. Smoother than Leslie Phillips entertaining a lady feel. Long sweet roasty finish. Very tasty.

500mL bottle purchased at The Davis Beer Shoppe. Aroma has some ethanol present initially. Light chocolate and some ash is also present. Cocoa powder is also present. Mediocre aroma. Opaque black body with a medium, fairly strong tan head. Starts with light sweet chocolate character, before some scant anise presence comes through. The middle is a little thin and watery, before some burnt roast comes through late. Ethanol lingers late. This is just really boozy and kind of thin. Not sure how or why this is scored so highly. I remember liking this beer in the past.

TET (1094) - FINLAND - MAR 29, 2013
A black beer with a medium, dense and light brown head. Aroma is strongly roasted, coffee, lactose, milky sourness, hint of chocolate, citrusfruits and sewer. Taste of roasted malts, lots of hops, coffee, some salt liquirice, The aftertaste is long and strongly piney and grapefruity. An almost full bodied, smooth and mild carbonation. Intensive and strongly hopped IS, but not very interesting, more complexicity would be great.

Bottle, from Blue Max in MN, really surprised, this is the exact type of stout I hated when I first started craft beer, now i find it truly enjoyable, no coffee flavor just straight in your face roast and bitterness.. well done.
