yespr (6363), Copenhagen O, Denmark Jan 13, 2008 50 cL bottle, batch 65 (attempt number 65 at their Imperial Stout? I guess so, they don’t always seem to know what they are doing with their imp. stouts). Pours black and with a dense light brown lasting head. No yeast at bottom. Roasted, coffee and dark chocolate aroma. Full bodied. Flavour is smooth chocolate with hardroasted note mixing inbetween. Has a soft berry fruity note to it as well. Lingering chocolate and dark coffee into the finish, quite smooth and not as much liqourice as previously, and far from the vanilla heavy version I remember.
