COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: Forget about India Pale Ale being an English beer, which should be robust enough to withstand the long sea voyage from England to India. Our version of an IPA is totally inspired by the new interpretations, especially those found on the U.S. west coast.
A solid malt base, combined with Simcoe, Amarillo and Cascade hops and then just dry hopped enough to ensure that the hop burn is thorough. It is fruity and fresh, it’s bitter like hell and it is strong enough to give you a little kick if you drink a couple of bottles or three.
This is how we make a great IPA at Amager. We don’t have a single doubt that you will enjoy our IPA , because it is a damn good beer. Cheers!

Bottle shared by martjoobolut, thanks! Beige copper, large white head, very nice lacing. Nose is biscuity malt, caramel, toasty notes, citrus, pine. Taste is toasty malt, oranges, peaches, mango, caramel, assertively bitter finish, pine, resin. Very nicely balanced.

A dark amber beer, with a very nice white head. In the nose there is a lot if hop, citra, red fruits (strawberries and berries) and some sweet. It is a full bodied beer, with an average carbonation. In the taste, there is a lot of bitter from the hop, grapefruit, light sweetness and a harsh bitterness. The aftertaste is bitter and bitter. A nice full ipa, with a good strong bitterness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Very bitter east coast IPA. Not that much taste development, but a bitter long ride, with hops that heavy such a heavy palate you feel your eyes cringe. If you like bitter, this one will satisfy you. Edit: some taste development after two thirds. It stays the bitter ale that doesnt want to please, but it gives away some fruits ---Rated via Beer Buddy (iOs)

Alla mi moglie è garbata parecchio, e in effetti devo dire che è una ipa molto ben fatta profumata e di grande beva.

Kopparfärgad med stort ljusbrunt skum! Massor med amerikansk humle i både doft och smak! Väldigt besk men god!

Backlog. On tap at Green Lion Inn. A worthwhile IPA, doesn’t really make a stand as some of the more extreme Danes though.

Slightly hazy dark amber reddish color, medium beige head. Aroma of caramel, malt, biscuit, some sweet fruity and floral notes, nuts and hint of pine. Taste has caramel, grain, hops, citrus, roast, grass - dry sweet with heavy hoppy bitterness in finish and long aftertaste. Medium body and average carbonation. Interesting and quite enjoyable ale.

500ml bottle. Clear copper color. Massive off-white head, stays. Caramel, dusty, hops, malts, tinned pork in aroma. Caramel, candy, flour, massive hops, alcohol, chocolate powder in taste. Massive alco-bitterness in aftertaste. Very messy beer.

500 ml bottle from BG Birra, served in a nonic half pint glass. Dark copper colour, slightly hazy, with a yellow-ish creamy head. Good lacing. Fruity, almost perfumy aroma, clearly hoppy but not as pungent as expected. Quite a lot of caramel and toffee, slightly toasted malts, a hint of soap. Perfect level of bitterness in the mouth, but the same impressions remains: a bit too malty, sticky caramel, a bit of booze, nice lingering fruity aftertaste. Average carbonation, medium body, creamy texture. On the lines of a red IPA/hoppy Amber ? I don’t know, but it’s kinda different from what I was expecting. So so.
