COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: Forget about India Pale Ale being an English beer, which should be robust enough to withstand the long sea voyage from England to India. Our version of an IPA is totally inspired by the new interpretations, especially those found on the U.S. west coast.
A solid malt base, combined with Simcoe, Amarillo and Cascade hops and then just dry hopped enough to ensure that the hop burn is thorough. It is fruity and fresh, it’s bitter like hell and it is strong enough to give you a little kick if you drink a couple of bottles or three.
This is how we make a great IPA at Amager. We don’t have a single doubt that you will enjoy our IPA , because it is a damn good beer. Cheers!

@ Havregatan. Flaska från Systembolaget (55:-). Mörkt bärnstensfärgad. Rejält amerikansk i stilen, grape, mycket humle och beska. Fantastiskt god! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Botella de 0.5L. La mejor ipa que he probado. El aroma a lúpulo es muy intenso. En boca más lúpulo, con una explosión de amargor final increíble

Sampled draught at "En öl & whiskymässa" in Göteborg, on April 13, 2013.
Hazy dark red to copper color, tan head. Sweet, coffee, hoppy scent. Sweet, malty, bitter taste. Medium mouthfeel, medium high bitterness.

Bottle from mane liquor. Pours a nice deep golden with a frothy white head. Aromas of roasted malt, citrus hops and caramel. Taste is all about the citrus hop bitterness. Malt profile takes over heaps of caramel malt and a pine resinous mouth feel takes over. Not overly balanced. Not too bad ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500ml bottle @Lúpulo Feroz, Oviedo. Very citrusy aromas, along with some fruity and acid ones. Pours dark amber, some hazy, with nice off-white head, persistent, some lacing. Medium body, average carbonation and crispy texture. Taste is really bitter, citrus, some herbal and caramel flavours. Not so balanced. Very dry aftertaste.

Bottled. Dark amber color, creamy and lacy head. Citrusy nose, apricots, mango, some resins. Surprisingly roasted, almost smoky maltiness. Dryish maltiness, slightly thin finish, resiny and lingering finish. Medium body. Ok but not very fresh.

On tap at Henrik, Bergen. The colour is slightly hazy amber with a khaki creamy head. A bit faint aroma but feels malty along with caramel and grassy hops in the background, and some wet cardboard and red currant. The flavour is also pretty malty and sweet with rye bread and lots of grassy hops in the aftertaste. Slick mouth feel, and has a medium to heavy bitterness. A rich IPA and a hop heads dream. Could maybe be a bit more balanced in my opinion.

Bottle. Pours a clear dark amber beer with a small, light white head on top. Aroma has "Hops" spelled in it’s fume.. wow.. Full of piney hoppy resins and spruce and grapefruit are joining in the fun as well. Awesome aroma, one of the best smelling IPA’s ever. Flavor is as I’d expected it to be and even better. Full hoppy bitter taste, influences of the citric sides, juicy limes and dry grapefruit. Very dry finish, mouth wrangling.. awesome beer!!
