COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: Forget about India Pale Ale being an English beer, which should be robust enough to withstand the long sea voyage from England to India. Our version of an IPA is totally inspired by the new interpretations, especially those found on the U.S. west coast.
A solid malt base, combined with Simcoe, Amarillo and Cascade hops and then just dry hopped enough to ensure that the hop burn is thorough. It is fruity and fresh, it’s bitter like hell and it is strong enough to give you a little kick if you drink a couple of bottles or three.
This is how we make a great IPA at Amager. We don’t have a single doubt that you will enjoy our IPA , because it is a damn good beer. Cheers!
Ingredients: Water, barley malt , hops, and yeast

Bottle. Cloudy deep amber with a huge creamy beige long lasting head. Aroma is mild sweet and had notes of toasted malt, caramel, lemon and hops. Flavour was quite full bodied and had caramel, toasted malt, lemon and delicious dusty hops. Had a long malty start but in the finish the nice hops came solid through. I love this beer. It’s a very hoppy beer but because the hops kicks in so late and since It had a very soft mouthfeel I finished it in less than 10 minutes. This is my new favourite session beer. If you can say that for a beer of this strenght. Jacob and Morten, you have done it again. This is a fantastic beer!

UPDATED: MAY 2, 2009 From tap at Ørsted. Pours cloudy to hazy orange with a fully gone head. Peachy and mild citrusy hops aroma, inviting and smooth. Solid grapefruit and peach hoppy flavoured with a solid bitterness yet just enough balance from the light sweet caramel malt base. Lasting peachy and fruity hoppy finish. Very elegant brew. Version 2 is quite similar, yet with a more pronounced bitterness and light liqourice like note. Somewhat more floral in the far finish.8-3-8-4-16=3.9
