COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: Forget about India Pale Ale being an English beer, which should be robust enough to withstand the long sea voyage from England to India. Our version of an IPA is totally inspired by the new interpretations, especially those found on the U.S. west coast.
A solid malt base, combined with Simcoe, Amarillo and Cascade hops and then just dry hopped enough to ensure that the hop burn is thorough. It is fruity and fresh, it’s bitter like hell and it is strong enough to give you a little kick if you drink a couple of bottles or three.
This is how we make a great IPA at Amager. We don’t have a single doubt that you will enjoy our IPA , because it is a damn good beer. Cheers!

Bottled (Beer Hunter’s, BB 07/2010, batch #175). Hazy orange-amber color, small creamy off-white head. Very fruity nose: orange, citrus and honey, pleasant! Medium-bodied. Fresh grass, citrus, pine needles, resin ... Balanced pale malty backbone. Not extremely bitter anyway, good drinkabiliity and beer feels less alcoholic than 7%. Another good one from Amager.

I like this one. Perfect Orange hazy colour. Extreme Grape fruit nose and taste. More fruity than flowery. Very bitter, but sweetnes balances it. Drunk on my birthday, and a present from Christian, Thank you.

Clear chewy orange look with a fast disappearing baige head. Aroma is different from many other ipa’s. Very malty with heavy notes of caramel. The hops comes through as fresh leaves with loads of citrus and some pine. Super dry finish, good one

#15 at papsø blind tasting. cloudy brown, small offwhite head. aroma is caramelly and strongly hoppy. flavor is very strong hoppy, extremely dry. i guessed amager rated xx which wasn’t too far off, as we were expecting mostly american brews. By the way - this IPA rocks! good stuff.
