COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: Forget about India Pale Ale being an English beer, which should be robust enough to withstand the long sea voyage from England to India. Our version of an IPA is totally inspired by the new interpretations, especially those found on the U.S. west coast.
A solid malt base, combined with Simcoe, Amarillo and Cascade hops and then just dry hopped enough to ensure that the hop burn is thorough. It is fruity and fresh, it’s bitter like hell and it is strong enough to give you a little kick if you drink a couple of bottles or three.
This is how we make a great IPA at Amager. We don’t have a single doubt that you will enjoy our IPA , because it is a damn good beer. Cheers!
Ingredients: Water, barley malt , hops, and yeast

Bottle: Light brown slow disappearing foamy head. Color is hazy dark orange. Smell: citrus, hop, lemon. Also bit sweaty, bitter and bread smell. Looking forward to tasting this with such a lovely label and colors. Taste is very soft on the tongue, mix of hops, fruit, bitter and hint of sugars and malts. Very well balanced and long aftertaste that slowly turning bitter and dry.

Keg (Pikkulintu, Helsinki)
Murky orange, large tight glow-in-the dark orange head. Frosted the glass, and sure enough there was bugger all aroma. Fizzy keggy palate. Vegetal and gingery retronasals. Ugh, I’m torn, as I like ginger, but the veg is offputting. Taste is more gingery, and a bucket load of fleshy fruit sweet and grapefruity bitter hops, but more vegetal still. Double ugh, it’s boozy too. At it’s best, this is passable, but has way too any negatives. No balance, booze, and stewed veg. Baaad combo.

(Draught@Pikkulintu) Very hazy amber with a small head. Aroma of exotic fruit, grainy malt, caramel. Some exotic fruitiness also in the flavor, with some ashiness. Medium body, lowish carbonation. A quite nice, aromatic IPA, but slightly ashy.

Cloudy amber, orange colored brew. Hoppy aroma, citrus, pine. Malty, mild hopped flavor. Not very interesting, but enjoyable.

APA!!! en skam, at den megen humle i duften formår at forsvinde næsten helt i smagen (minder på den måde meget om randers hoppy sundown). noter af citrus og lud, men tynd smag

Huge yellow head, quite even, leaving lace over red-orange beer, well-carbonated. Cake with grapes and sultanas; resiny & citrussy hops, very inviting. Seriously bitter hops, flavours of oil paint or solvent, citruspeel oil - the full flavour, not just the aroma; vegetal. There is some maltpresence underneath (sweet, bit oxydized) but not convincingly affirmative. The bitterness is crude, and not truly enjoyable. Hopoil influencing the MF, slick, long-lasting bitterness. I’m not overly fond of this one; way too much hopbitter, lopsided.

Biggish yellow beige head. Muddy opaque dark brown body. Strong floral grapefruit mango aroma with resiny notes. Strong bitter mango and resin taste with floral grassy notes. Mid-bodied. Sharpish mouthfeel. Dry grapefruity resiny aftertaste with spicy grassy roasty notes. Lovely! Drinkable, and full of flavour. Fairly harmonic, too. (0.5l bottle, Café Langebro, Copenhagen.)
