COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: Forget about India Pale Ale being an English beer, which should be robust enough to withstand the long sea voyage from England to India. Our version of an IPA is totally inspired by the new interpretations, especially those found on the U.S. west coast.
A solid malt base, combined with Simcoe, Amarillo and Cascade hops and then just dry hopped enough to ensure that the hop burn is thorough. It is fruity and fresh, it’s bitter like hell and it is strong enough to give you a little kick if you drink a couple of bottles or three.
This is how we make a great IPA at Amager. We don’t have a single doubt that you will enjoy our IPA , because it is a damn good beer. Cheers!

On tap at Wildeman. Dark amber. Quite dark for an IPA really. Medium head. Seriously hoppy through and through. Bitter in the finish. I really enjoyed this one.

Nice IPA with loud and clear hoppy ending on a more than a normal pale ale malt profile. Not entirely like the most vigouros West Coast IPAs. This is easy to drink and the alcohol burden is well desguised.

Bottle at In de Wildeman. This cloudy golden ale poured with a generous off-white head and a bread and fruit aroma. There is a strong caramel malt flavor with just the right amount of hop bitterness, some pine and a hint of carbonation.

Bottled. Amber coloured. Unclear. Dense beige head. Balanced aroma of light pine, light fruits, light flowers and light caramel. Flavour is caramel, fruits, flowers and herbs. Again very balanced and smooth. Medium to full bodied. Dry. Medium bitter end with very well balance between sweetness and bitterness. Very high drinkability.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy orange color with a small off-white head. Has a malty hoppy fruity aroma with some yeasty hints. Sweetish fruity malty grassy hoppy flavor. Has a fruity malty hoppy bitter finish with a long bitter aftertaste.

bottle.50cl. Hazy fluide, with a ugly color, it has a home´brew aroma and it has a medium homebrew taste, it does not rock my world in any way.

Hazy amber color; big creamy head. Fruity hop aroma, perfumy, rusty. Medium bodied, some caramel flavor, hoppy bite, strong bitterness, a bit fruity, very green. Harsh.

It is beautiful, hazy/unclear red amber with a huge, creamy head. The aroma has a lot of fruit, citrus, spruce and it is very inviting. The flavour has a light caramel sweetness that embraces the nicely balanced, fruity flavour with notes of citrus (pink grapefruit), spruce, mango and other fruits. The finish has a refreshing, dry bitterness, a really nice one.

Bottled at Beer Hunter’s, Pori. Murky dark amber, small light beige head. Well hopped and fresh aroma, exotic citric/kiwi fruits, pine & resin, strong juicy grapefruit. Flavor is a great mix of pine, resin, mellow sweetish caramel malts, long red grapefruit bitterness in the finish. Silky smooth carbonation. A great IPA, beautiful hopping and the sweetness is in good balance.

On tap at Copenhagen Beerfestival. It’s a hazy, golden beer with a small, creamy, beige head leaving lacings. Hoppy nose, leaving little space for malty scents, with citrus and resin dominating. Bitterness, citrus and resin in the flavor, with some malty sweetness in the background. The bitterness lasts for a long time, supported by resiny flavors. Full-bodied, and almost astringent due to the bitterness. The beer is nice indeed, but is maybe a bit one-track minded. Hops are lovely, but a bit more emphasis on the malts would suit me. And make it more quaffable. (090515)
