3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
500 ml bottle from BG Birra, served in a nonic half pint glass. Dark copper colour, slightly hazy, with a yellow-ish creamy head. Good lacing. Fruity, almost perfumy aroma, clearly hoppy but not as pungent as expected. Quite a lot of caramel and toffee, slightly toasted malts, a hint of soap. Perfect level of bitterness in the mouth, but the same impressions remains: a bit too malty, sticky caramel, a bit of booze, nice lingering fruity aftertaste. Average carbonation, medium body, creamy texture. On the lines of a red IPA/hoppy Amber ? I don’t know, but it’s kinda different from what I was expecting. So so.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Nice dark brown color with rocky head. Aroma has some dough. Very strong and roasty taste with some spruce in it. Full body, thick feel, fizzy, long finish, only slightly bitter. This beer has a bit too much sweetness in it.

500ml bottle from Systembolaget. Almost clear amber, big creamy tanned head, rich lacing. Big, hoppy bitter-sweet aroma fruity, sweet with pine, grapefruit, caramel, toffee. Mild carbonated, full-bodied sticky and smooth mouthfeel. The taste fills the mouth with sweet and bitter flavors. Toffee, caramel, sticky dark dried fruit, sweet peach meets grapefruit, pine, resin, green hops and leather. Big and heavey!

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Pretty hazy amber body, lasting off-white head, some lacing. Aroma is caramel, dough, pine. Taste is caramel, then a medium herbal bitterness. Some booze detectable, little bit of resin too. Bitter aftertaste that kind of tastes like too strongly brewed black tea. Just not good. Quite thin body. "We don?t have a single doubt that you will enjoy our IPA , because it is a damn good beer." No, no it’s not; and ist?s horribly overpriced at that.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Amber, hazy, average to large and mostly lasting head. Moderate, malty and sweetish aroma, caramel with light bread and light tropical fruitiness, some piney - citrus hoppyness. Body is medium to full, malty and lightly sweetish - sweetish flavor, some caramel and light bread with tropical fruitiness, piney - some citrus hoppyness. Finish is average, malty and lightly sweetish - sweetish, light - some caramel and faint fruitiness, lots of piney - some citrus hoppyness, light alcohol. IPA with caramel and notes of bread - in the finish bitterness gets bit sharp and soapy. There are better IPAs from Amager. Nice head though.

Ljusbrun med ett rejält skum. Balanserad och maltig IPA, inte så fruktig men fyllig och lagom beska.
