COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: Forget about India Pale Ale being an English beer, which should be robust enough to withstand the long sea voyage from England to India. Our version of an IPA is totally inspired by the new interpretations, especially those found on the U.S. west coast.
A solid malt base, combined with Simcoe, Amarillo and Cascade hops and then just dry hopped enough to ensure that the hop burn is thorough. It is fruity and fresh, it’s bitter like hell and it is strong enough to give you a little kick if you drink a couple of bottles or three.
This is how we make a great IPA at Amager. We don’t have a single doubt that you will enjoy our IPA , because it is a damn good beer. Cheers!
Ingredients: Water, barley malt , hops, and yeast

[On tap at Carlsens with Bo.] Great haze look and wonderful fluffy lasting head. Pines, grass, grapes, pills, citrus, amounthops, malt and a good felling of eating lawn for breakfast.

50cl bottle at home. Pale amber brown with a medium white soapy head with low retention. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Creamy mouthfeel. Quite bitter with some subtle sweetness. Pine, grapefruit, citrus, grass and spices. A tasty IPA!

500 ml bottle at The Hoppy Pub, Sallonika Greece. Orange color, hazy, with a thin white head. Aromas of pine, grass, flowers. Taste is nice, bitter, with pine and grass mostly, followed by some fruits and flowers. Light body with medium carbonation.

Bottle batch 876. Clear orange/hazelnut brown with a medium sized frothy off white head. Citrus and flowers in the nose. Pretty malty but also has lots of fresh hops to balance it. Light caramel, bread, black berries, citrus, wood, onion. Medium body, soft/light prickling carbonation, solid dry bitterness in the finish. Turns astringent. The finish is a bit rough, not my favourite Amager IPA.

Flaska delad med @msbrindbergs, tack! Dimmig röd vätska med stort gräddigt skum. Doftar ganska svagt åt det kådiga hållet. Smakar kådigt, maltigt med stor beska. Känns lite obalanserad men ok.

Flaska från SB. Klar rödbrun vätska med ett mastigt gräddigt skum. Dofter av röda bär och karamellmalt. Maltig smak med kådig kraftig beska. Munknullare! Men saknar en dimension... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Botella 33 cl. Color marron- ambar oscuro. Espuma beige persistente. Recomendable...rollo USA

Bottle from Uba ja Humal in Tallinn (€ 6.50). BB 09/2015. Pours a murky dark rusty amber colour. Head is big, cream-coloured, retaining and lacing beautifully. Nose is ripe tropical fruits, grapefruit, toffee, flowers and biscuits, musky and spicy, slightly gingerbready and kinda pungent. Taste is delicate toffee, biscuit and caramel sweetness, continuing and finishing with a bunch of grapefruit seed bitterness, but also more sweeter citruses... Body medium, carbonation very pleasantly soft. Quite dry on the palate. The caramel-coated citrusy bitter finish lingers long. Overall I consider this an enjoyable, over-hopped Amber Ale.

0,50 bottle purchase at the Hoppy Imports (Thessaloniki-Greece), consumed in Kosovo. Best before 09/2015. Pours a very nice and unexpected deep amber color, reddish in a way with a huge ivory foam. Nose: light fruity notes, peach, a smoky background hint. Mouth: round chicory bitterness, medium body, malts. Good but not terrific at all!
