English: Throw off the darkness, make merry and bid the light welcome! That is the simple message in our Spring IPA "Kåååd" (Frisky). Not many people know this, but there is a whole herd of beef cattle being raised in a secret Amager location on the spent grain from our beer production. This cattle herd, surely the happiest in the world, had barely tasted the grain from this very beer, before they let out a celebratory MUUH so loud that it could be heard all the way to downtown Copenhagen. The ensuing merriment in the herd caused a Stampede greater than any seen in Calgary in July. But one thing is for sure: If you, dear hophead, partake of this brew, you will become as frisky as our happy heifers as soon as you catch a whiff of the aromatic hops that we have jam-packed into "Kåååd". Have a merry old spring - and don’t do anything we, or the happy cattle, wouldn’t do...

Ingredienser: Vand, Malte: Pilsner-, Münchener-, Cara Pils og Melanoidin malt. Humler: Herkules, Tomahawk, Summit, Chinook, Simcoe, Centennial, Amarillo og Cascade. Gær: en amerikansk overgær.

Bottle. Slightly hazy golden pour with thick white head. Aroma is fresh with both sweetness and bitter hoppy notes. Taste has instant fresh bitterness, lots of fruit but still comes out well balanced. One of my favourite IPAs

This is one of the most complex IPAs I’ve ever had the pleasure of drinking. Not confusing in any way, but it’s like when you close your eyes and think of all the different hop-and malt types you can remember - they’re probably in it! Of course the Chinook and Amarillo dominates and the Cascade is somewhat downtuned by Münchener malts especially. Then there are 100s of other things going on too, and you just have to drink another to get it all in. I think I’d nominate this as one of the 10 best IPA brews ever, and that’s no joke. Haylike, floral, leafy, light bitter, medium body, slick texture and lively carbonation. This is a 10/10 brew
