English: Throw off the darkness, make merry and bid the light welcome! That is the simple message in our Spring IPA "Kåååd" (Frisky). Not many people know this, but there is a whole herd of beef cattle being raised in a secret Amager location on the spent grain from our beer production. This cattle herd, surely the happiest in the world, had barely tasted the grain from this very beer, before they let out a celebratory MUUH so loud that it could be heard all the way to downtown Copenhagen. The ensuing merriment in the herd caused a Stampede greater than any seen in Calgary in July. But one thing is for sure: If you, dear hophead, partake of this brew, you will become as frisky as our happy heifers as soon as you catch a whiff of the aromatic hops that we have jam-packed into "Kåååd". Have a merry old spring - and don’t do anything we, or the happy cattle, wouldn’t do...

Ingredienser: Vand, Malte: Pilsner-, Münchener-, Cara Pils og Melanoidin malt. Humler: Herkules, Tomahawk, Summit, Chinook, Simcoe, Centennial, Amarillo og Cascade. Gær: en amerikansk overgær.

Pours a golden honey unclear beer with a good with head. The smell is not very present. Grapefruit I guess. Taste is fruity, grapefruit. A very nice bitter finish. Dry texture abd good carbo. Bit low tho but not bad.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 12C). Bottle 50 cl - Batch 1033. AROMA: hop aromas with floral notes, with a moderately sweet/caramelly background. slightly fruity. APPEARANCE: light ambar color and clear. average off-white head with average persistance. TASTE: hop flavour similar to the aroma with floral notes. Medium light malty background with biscuit and toffee notes. High bitterness that lasts beyond an almost dry finish. PALATE: medium-light and smooth body with style average carbonation. OVERALL: a very nice IPA with good hop predominance but with a supportive malt character.

Alias version Modern Ipa. Poured from bottle, hazy amber with a medium head. Aroma is full of fruit, dried fruit, tropical fruit and citrus, some caramel. Taste is wonderfully bitter with a nice body and long finish. Lots of fruit here too with some resin. Great IPA!

Drank w Matt at home. Hazy to opaque orange-tan pour. Fizzy fine white head and spotty legs. Smells of moderate hop, moderate resin, straw, orange, banana, moderate boozy spice caramel malt. Taste is very heavy hop, dry, resinous, slightly dusty, finish has oily spiced malt. Body is slick, bitter, spicy lemony frothy finish.

Bottle from Craftissimo at home - sick at the time of this review so taste is a bit muted. Foamy creamy white head with hazy dull amber pour. Aroma is bright hops - pine and spice. Taste follows - good bitterness but lots of malt to dampen and make sweeter. A bit too malty but nice bitterness. Wouldn't get again but not bad.

Qu’est ce que c’est bien fait ! C’est orange, fruité avec une mousse fine, des notes d’agrumes magnifiques et des bulles toutes douces. Un must.

This is a friend of mine. Pouring with a nice firm head in white and a golden colour. Aroma is really nice with lots of amarillo and citrus with some malty notes. Taste is magnificent with rich happy notes and also a malty prescense. Palate long lasting with lots of nice citrus and IPA style of classic taste. My kind of beer.

50 cl, bottle conditioned. Hazy orange, two-finger off-white head, nice carbonation. I smell the hops while pouring. Grapefruit, citrus, pine, spruce, wow this is hoppy. And Bitter, with a capital B. Really attacks your palate, leaving a citrusy and dry bitter aftertaste. One of the best IPA’s around. (Comment: This is marketed under the "Desperately trying to be a modern IPA" label rather than "Kåååd", which means "horny". That word may be political correct in Denmark, but not in Norway...).
