COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle from Systembolaget. Aroma of bourbon, chocolate, vanilla and alcohol. Pours black with a medium light brown head. Deep rich taste of vanilla, coffee and chocolate. Palate is very lean and has a smooth creamy feeling. Overall a very nice beer, though you could wish for a slightly enhanced aroma.

Bottle. Black, with a white/brown head. Delicious aroma of vanilla bourbon and coffee. Taste is warming, soft and round, with notes of vanilla, milk chocolate and some coffee. Long developing aftertaste of vanilla bourbon. Truly an amazing beer.

Bottle. Black pour, no head. Aroma of vanilla, roasted malts, licorice, chocolate, leather and slightly spicy. Flavor is quite bitter, roasted malts and with a nice balance. Smooth texture, low carbonation.

Aroma is thick and sweet from vanilla, wet wood and some undefined tar sensation. Taste is upfront strong coffee, dark chocolates and rough bitterness. It soon transforms into a sweetness, and I guess it is here the barrel-aging takes effect? Actually, it turns a bit too sweet for me and that was a little disappointment. A super-nice stout, but the sweetness annoys me a little.

Bottle from Vinmonopolet. Very dark brown, lovely bourbon aroma. Well blended a robust beer liberally laced with the booze.
