COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Danish: Hidsig American Barleywine.

English: Brewed to celebrate the second offspring of one of the owners of Ølbaren, this American Barleywine has a fierce bitterness from excessive use of hops.

Keg at the Taphouse, CPH, 30/04/15. Lightly hazed reddish amber with decent beige spotting. Nose is caramel, sweet tunes, perfumed notes, malt. Taste comprises caramel, brown sugars, perfumed notes, candied fruit peel, toffee. Medium + body, fine carbonation, sweet licks and light booze in the close. Ok barley wine but overly sweet for me - a slow sipper!
