On tap at Ølbaren. It pours a clear, dark brown to copper body under a dense, creamy, beige head leaving lacings. The aroma is nutty and caramel-ish, with some alcohol. Dusty, piney hops and some raisins too. Caramel, roasted malts and resiny hops in the flavor, lasting for a really long time. Smooth, warming and full-bodied. A pleasant and tasteful beer, indeed. 110527

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 fiulijn (10383) - Como, ITALY - SEP 7, 2011
Draught at Ølbaren, Copenhagen Hazy dark amber color, with red shades, and a creamyhead. It has a very strong aroma, yeast and cheese over all; maybe malt and hops too, but really hidden. At least the flavor brings us immediately in the realm of American Strong Ales or American Barley Wines; the first evident difference is that this beer is actually quite smooth, silky, even with its superpowers; there is an almost overwhelming flavor of malt, caramel, roasted malts and hops; chocolate comes to mind, liquorice is present too (and rather evident); quite amazingly there is a very hidden strawberry note; the cheesy impression is also there, candi sugar and a generic fruity touch too. The final is extreme, the mouth is almost burning for the extreme hops, nevertheless the mouthfeel is velvety till the last drop. Interesting, very good.

Draught at ølbaren. Dark Brown with a redish glow and a small baige head. Nice toffee malt aroma with some leftover floral hops. Sweet toffee malt flavor backed up by a huge bitterness with an ashy feel to it. The alchohol is quite strong and adds to the bitterness throughout the finish. Great beer

Draft. A slightly hazy dark amber beer with a huge tan head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, caramel, hops, grass, and grapefruit. The flavor is sweet with notes of over ripe fruits, malt, caramel, sauce, and lots of hops - though mostly lending the beer bitterness.
