COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: Special version of the Amager Drei von Dänen smoked Baltic porter, aged in cognac barrels.

Bottle 50cl from Henrik thanks, a dark beer with huge brown head. Nose is very roasted like with light vinous touch. Aroma is excellent on smooth dark chocolate, light smoked notes, nice chocolate bouquet, light fig and candied red fruits. Finish is long on dark coffee, caramel, light coffee, still smooth even at the finish.

11/12/11/11/9/11

Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle. Dark brown pour with a tan head. The aroma is full of cognac, oak and roasted malt. The flavor is similar with some chocolate and roasted malt, as well as a good dose of oak. The cognac notes are less noticeable in the flavor but they are still present. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

0.5l bottle from #316. This is a deep dark brown one, almost black in the glass with a nice medium sized heavy lacing brown with. Loaded with sweetness and cognac on the nose. Lots if dark light oak and smoky aromas. Deep roasted, lots if chocolate and definitely wood. The cognac is the main player in this aroma though. Quite lovely. Really flavorful and tasty this. After the first sip I just want another one right away. It’s about average on the carbonation and it has a oily mouthfeel. Deep dry roasted flavors, a bit of prickling alcohol and subtle smoky tones at first. The cognac is more subtle in the taste actually, but I get some sweet cognac wood-like notes in the back of the throat. Ends with chocolate a deep more dark roasted flavor in the finish and a aftertaste that can be best described as light peated. Yeah, this is really tasty. 17.05.2013
