Men igen kudos for virkelig at presse citronen. Det er bare for meget for mig.

Hand tapped on plastic bottle 2 weeks prior to tasting. Pours a dark reddish colour with no head. Aroma is complex; tart/sour; acetone; blackcurrant (wine gums). Feels a bit stale. Finish is a bit hard on the throat; quite sour; lots of alcohol and a decent amount of sugar/molasses. Seems a bit too much at first, but quickly learned to appreciate it. Overall this could be quite cloying, but the high alcohol presence made it pull through. Really nice. 25.09.10.

Draught during sour weekend at Mikkellerbar, b-day present from evil stepdad. My first though was omg, what are they up to now?! Aroma was extremly intense with loads of sharp red wine vinegar and terpentine, interesting, wonder what it tastes like...and wow, this falls outside any beer category i’ve sampled so far. As i went though the highly sour petrol and acetone flavor, i felt my teeth starting to disovle and my tastebuds trying to tell me something wasnt right. Trying to figure out when the last time was that i had to leave a beer half full, couldnt remember...But the rest of this one went to a guy next to me, who had lost his sense of smell and therefore had no trouble with this....thing. Sorry but this was just too much

Handbottled. Deep amber brown with red shine and minimal brown head. Aroma has massive vanilla and oak, acetone, rum, black currant english winegums, some kind of roast hidden somewhere. Taste has acetone, vanilla, oak, black currant, molasses, weird oaky sourness, rather alcoholic, a bit qualming, very complex and very sweet. Would be stunning with a bit more funk and sourness. Reminds me quite a bit of the Mikkeller Sour Wine

This is ONE complex beer! Dark, sweet, sour, and wild. The aroma is guarenteed to kick the legs away under you and then the crazy taste sets in. This is not a beer everyone would like, but I enjoyed it very much. When my rating isn’t even higher it’s because it’s probably not a beer I would like to drink too often, for that it’s too extreme. Try it for yourself!

On tap at Mikkeller Bar. Pours dark with minimal head. Aroma is wild and yeasty. A LOT of flavour. Glad I had the opportunity to try this beer.

Dark brown. Wonderful fruity aroma; berries, brown sugar, acetic acid, vanilla and candy in the nose. Sweet and sour, full bodied. A fantastic complex beer.
