COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Had at the beer club tasting night at the Roxbury Hotel at Glebe. A wonderfully bitter beer. Great hop aromas and flavours. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500 at Olbutikken. Pours a cloudy medium amber with orange highlights. Nose comes on like a beast right away, showing intense pine and grapefruit, almost caustic, just a nostril shredder. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Caramel mid palate but that gives way instantly to an oily, intense alpha acid wash--pine and grapefruit, grapefruit rind, shampoo. Long shampoo finish. Really smacks you around.

Bottle 50 cl. dark golden beer with a large shape white head of large duration. Sweet aroma of malt and caramel then pineapple, peach and citrus. Slightly sweet and very dry in flavor with strong notes of pine needles and notes of Pineapple and grapefruit. Dry and bitter aftertaste with a long bitter feeling of pine needles

Pours pale amber with a small head. Nose shows pine, lemon custard and caramel. Pretty potent. Very similar flavours. Very aggressive with a sharp, biting bitterness. More pine and soft sorachi ace notes. Some very faint clean malt but the bitterness rules this one. Very oily mouthfeel. Too oily.

Appearance: Heavenly hazy golden color with a big bubbly white head that last for a long time. Lovely lacing.
Aroma: Serious fruity and grape hoppy.
Palate: Full body. Moderate sweet and a rich bitterness. Creamy carbonation. Oily texture.
Taste: Rich grape hoppy flavor, and mild fruity .
Overall impression: Nice powerful and tasty IPA. No compromises. Nice blended and well integrated alcohol.

Mi primera IPA (80 IBUs). Cerveza de excelente aroma a fruta tropical, intenso sabor y buen paladar. Color turbio pajizo y una corona abundante que redondea una cerveza sorprendente

Exotic taste (hint of coconut). Very bitter finish. Not a typical IPA.

50 cl bottle @ home. Pours hazy amber with a little sediment and a white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma is exotic fruits (I’m guessing Sorachi Ace has been used), grapefruit, peach, and caramel. Flavour is much like the aroma with a very bitter finish.

tmrmwel (858) - Bergen, NORWAY - DEC 4, 2012
Bottle, batch 502. Pours orange with some residue, and a big creamy head. Aroma is extensive amounts of mango and tropical fruits, as well as bitter hops with orange peel, grapefruit, pine and resin. Body is creamy, with very soft carbonation. Flavour is sweet at first, before an aggressive bitterness of grapefruit and pine sets in and lasts throughout the finish.
