COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Big offwhite head. Slightly hazy yellow body. Intense resiny freshly cut wood aroma with gooseberry and pineapple notes. Dry-sweet gooseberry and cinnamon taste with earthy resiny notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dry gooseberry and cinnamon aftertaste with earthy catnip notes. Interesting, and certainly unusual for an IPA. Also quite austere. (0.5l bottle, Fish & Beer, Copenhagen.)

Bottle shared at ABC Den Haag, Yellow straw coloured pour with a think long-lasting frothy head. Smoky hoppy aroma with a smooth warm bitterness in the taste with a hint of malt which stays around on the palate for quite some time. Quite a bItter but very drinkable IPA. Worth tasting! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Ohh. A really good strong IPA. Smells pretty much. Tastes delicious. The aftertaste lingers very long time. Understand why this beer got good grades. It’s really good but not the best beer I drank. Very good, it is still.

Aroma is large, fresh and hoppy. Toffee, pine-needle, and lime. Slightly metallic. Nice white head. Taste is dominated by a powerful bitterness. Cereal and bread dominates along with grapefruit-bitterness. Aftertaste is primarily grapefruit.

Ar: fruit candy, dill, pineapple, vanilla, syrup, pine, perfume, hard to wrap your head around and to be frank a bit weird. Ap: slightly hazy golden colour, medium white head, some lacing. F: Big bite, grapefruit, resin, pine, then Comes some sweet malts, pineapple, vanilla, and unfortunately a disturbing note of dill ending in a warming finish with a lingering bitterness. M: medium body soft carbonation. T: not at all bad, but since I’ve Come to expect perfection from Amager this is a disappointment.

500ml bottle. Bright orange colour with a big soft hea of white foam. Full flavoured with a long floral aftertaste left in the mouth. Long on the palate? This is a very good beer.
