COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

A bit too bitter. One dimentional. Not really drinkable . A bit floral taste and aroma. Very long and strong bitterness. I expect more ballance of IPA. There is no sweet/fruit note.

My Bottom Line:
This slender IPA develops quite a strong resinous bite to go along its citrusy leanings, all in a bubbly and quenching mouthfeel.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam settles atop the misty honey blond.
-Some rough greenness reaches the nose. Not my kind of IPA aroma (unless there is some juicy fruitiness to back it up).
-The fruitiness is reminiscent of pears and various citrus fruit.
-Carbonation is intense, which increases the impression of dryness and drinkability.

Bottle.

50 cl. bottle, batch # 718, poured in to tulip. Hazy, deep golden colour with a dense, bubbly head. Fruity aroma with citrus, grass, resin, grapefruits, peach and caramel malts. Very west coast...or Amager. Taste is bitter - and very good. Medium to full, creamy texture and an average texture. Long lasting bitter and dry finish with grapefruits and pines. My kind of IPA - I regret haven’t tasted and rated before.

Growler from Mane Liquor. Poured a nice yellow golden with a fluffy white head. Aromas very bitter up front with a backing of lemon citrus and orange peel. Taste is quite orange upfront with a biscuit malt backing - then the massive bitterness pulls through. Nutty floral bitterness in the finish, very dry and long lasting. Is rather sweet but the bitterness just has you coming back for more. Bloody great beer!

Une bouteille de 50 cl. Batch 616.

Solidement buvable.

Bottle @tasting, pours pale and golden. A touch of straw and grass on the nose with an almost subliminal hint of caramel but it was there. Bitter grapefruit on the palate with a huge dollop of more grapefruit on the finish. Really nice.

Bottle at Craig’s. Pours pale yellow white a big white head. Big citrus nose, grapefruit and oranges. More grapefruit bitterness on the taste. Very nice.

Pale yellow with light white head. Vibrant, wee bit yeasty but white grapefruit nose. Light lychee, big bitter grapefruit and sieved out hop. Clean and bitter, very lean malt and a dry enough backboard on the finish not to be overly drinkable.
