COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Pours like a pilsner with a large off-white foamy head with good retention and some off-white lacing. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit and hops. Lots of fruity notes. Taste is quite bitter and almost full bodied. Very enjoyable beer, with nice hops presence and bitterness. It doesnt really challange you, but still a very nice brew.

Splitenz (331) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 6, 2014
A thoroughly enjoyable IPA from two top notch brewers. They must have had a hop war (the beer geek version of a pillow fight) prior to brewing this. What they’ve made is a Danish East "Coast" West Coast IPA. The beer reeks of "because we can" cheekyness. And yet, it is all well balanced, not too much in any way, with fruity and bitter notes working together to make a splendid sci-fi geek/beer-geek marriage.

On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger, Norway, 20140320. Herbs, bitter. Orange. Not the world’s best IPA.

Noe dunkel lys gyllen farve med lyst skum. Lukt av sitrus og grapefrukt. Smak av sitrus og grapefrukt. Melkebaren.

Feines Zeug. Echt fein.

Bottle from trade with Meilby - thank you so much, Kenni! The IPA pours out in a light hazy golden-orange colour with steady low head and medium body. Wonderful aroma of fresh hops and mild oranges. Taste of fresh, aromatic hops, gooseberries, oranges, herbs and mild spices. Dry-bitter finish. High enjoyable IPA - loved it.

Bottle: Poured a deep beige color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of citrus and grapefruit hops with nice fruity notes and limited bitterness is very enjoyable. Taste is also a mix between some dry pale malt notes with some citrusy and grapefruit forward hops with some limited bitterness. Body is quite full with good carbonation. Very enjoyable beer with nice hops presence and limited bitterness.
