Bottle @ Cardinal. Pours copper in color with a nice off white head. Rich aromas of citrus and sweet malts. Flavors of mango and some citrus, and sweet malts. Great balance. Medium body.

500 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 7.2%. Golden colour, slightly hazy. Large white head. The aroma is dominated by American hops, strong notes of spruce, pine and grapefruit. The flavour is fairly dry and very hoppy, with a massive chinine-like bitterness in the finish and the long aftertaste. Balance, in this beer? Don’t even think about it!

On tap @ Henrik. This is a light blurry golden-orange one with a small light sidesticking and islandy white top. On the nose it has a mild soapy bitterness, citrus, fresh pine cones with some cortex and there is lots of peachy fruits. It has a average small prickling carbonation level and a thick and quite oily mouthfeel. Good bitterness. Lots of grassy aggressive resinous bitterness. Tons of grapefruit and grapefruit peel! Some light astringent soapy flavors in the finish that drags the whole impression perhaps a bit down. All in all a tasty, good bitter and light fruity IPA. 12.10.2012

Big light beige head that lasts.
Solid golden color but clowdy.
Nice big piny hop aroma. Harsh bitterness with citrus taste and no sweetness. Medium body but not balanced.

Misty golden body with a small off-white head. Cat piss on a gooseberry bush, spruce, pollen and dried tropical fruits. Smooth, medium to full bodied aromatic hop juice. Endless bitter finish. Shamelessly unbalanced.

On tap at Henrik, Bergen. Has a pretty clear orange colour with a small creamy off-white head. The aroma is sweet and fruity with biscuit, cake, peaches and some vanilla. First the flavour is fruity with grapefruit, and then it explodes with lots of hops and harpix afterwards, and the ending is dry. The mouthfeel is soft, and has a heavy bitterness with all bittering plants you can imagine. A bit strange with its twofolded experience. A great beer if you love hops, a bit too much and unbalanced in my opinion.

Pours a cloudy pale yellow. Big white head. Aroma of citrus, light pine, grapefruit, grass. Taste is distinctly bitter with a very strong and pungent bitter finish - typical Port Brewing stuff! Body is a tad light, but pleasant.
