Bottle from Slowbeer. Great hoppy beer. Aromas of caramel and grass. Taste starts sweet, with bitterness taking over for a very long finish. Palate is creamy, and full bodied. Dark yellow, with a big frothy head.

UPDATED: AUG 13, 2012 (Re-rated on August 2nd 2012; Blind tasting of five different, hoppy Amager beers; Batch 476; BBD: August 2013) Pours a clear golden with rich, white head. Good retention. Aroma has notes of citrus and pine. Rounded and well balanced taste.
(50 cl bottle from Toft Vin, batch 412, BBD: Feb’ 2013) For me spring came early this year with a new batch of the wookie. Pours a slightly hazy golden with finger thick, white head. Good retention and lace. Aroma is this intensely pleasant mix of fir and fruit punch with lemony notes. Thick and rich on the palate, medium carbonation and full body with a long hoppy aftertaste. Taste is moderately bitter balanced off by the malt body that is pleasantly masked by the fruity hoppy aroma.
(50 cl bottle from Amager Bryghus, batch 350) Pours a marginally hazy golden apricot with medium, white head that laces the glass heavily. Rich and extremely pleasant floral, hoppy aroma with well balanced notes of passion fruit and grass. Hits the palate with soft carbonation and a rich almost creamy texture and a long bitter finish. Taste is full-bodied with notes of bitterness but very pleasantly so and richly complemented by floral and fruity notes. This was my first encounter with the Citra hop, but certainly not the last. (Aroma: 10; App: 5; Taste: 10; Palate: 5; Overall: 18)

Awesome! Bottle at home in the garden. Beautiful amber with a white head. Aroma of apricots and lime with meadows lingering as well. Sweet, sweet flavour of apricot and honey finishing in a wonderful and increasingly solid bitterness which adds a lime impression. Best new beer I’ve had in 2011 so far.

Fad: Flot kobberfarvet øl med et fint kridhvidt skumhoved. Duften er fantastisk af citrus og let blomstret humle. Smagen sidder lige i skabet og overgår mine forventninger med en mil eller 2. Virkelig en lækker øl.
4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 19/20 Maris (753) - Canberra, AUSTRALIA - OCT 8, 2012
From a 500ml bottle on 9/10/2012. Pours a light, slightly murky golden with a medium head. Certainly doesn’t look much like an IPA in the glass. The aroma is quite pleasant and sweet, with floral and fruity notes (passionfruit and lychee), and a little fairy floss. The flavour is really big - lots of sweet sweet orange and some light caramel are set off against lemon, grapefruit and peel. The bitterness is really intense, with a herbal, resiny, piney, slightly salty hop finish which seems to linger forever. The body is medium. This is a cracking, quite distinctive IPA. The only vague reference point I have is the old recipe BrewDog Punk IPA, but this is more intense still. The bitterness will be too much for some, but this is a must try for any hop head.

Bottle @ de molen. Aroma is huge american hops, big caramel and bready malt. Flavour is orangepeel, grapefruit, big big hops, lychee, citrus. Touch of toasty malt. Very dry, mouthwretcher. Awesome stuff.
