4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
tap. Hazy amber beer with a rather small head. The aroma has caracteristic of sweet fruit and the bitternes from the hop(very interesting). The flavor is sweet like a trial mix and bitter taste from the hops. The taste is so complex and very difficult to describe. Very well balanced and different experince to drink.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft. A hazy amber beer with a beige head. The aroma is sweet matly with very a perfumated hop character - lots of things going on there. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, bread, fruit, and lots of hops in a very complex undescribable way, leading to a very bitter finish.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured dark brown with a creamy head. Aroma dominated by hops. I felt the hops dominated the taste a bit much for my liking, a bit overly bitter for me. It is not my favorite IIPA, but it is still enjoyable if your looking for something "hoppy."

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle, bought @ Ølbutikken, Cph.
Pours dark muddy brown with a great, creamy, off-white head. Wonderful lacings. Heavy hoppy aroma. Lots of red apples, pine, grapefruit and grass. There is some caramel and biscuity malts in the background that almost feels like chocolate. Lowish carbonation, fine mouthfeel. Flavour is surprisingly sweet, actually. Lots of chocolate and biscuity malts. A hell of a lot of hops as well, very dry finish, quite astringent. This is a very different IIPA recipe, but it is actually quite nice and drinkable.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Slightly hazy red copper with a big and lasting off-white head. Intense aroma of perfumed hops, dominated by pine on top of fruity and grassy notes. Biscuit malty backbone, lots of bitterness and grassy, spicy hops flavour with a little grapefruit.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: MAY 7, 2009 Hazy amber with a huge beige creamy head. Aroma was very hoppy with a nice malt base, grapefruit and lemons. Extremely nice vinious and very hoppy flavour along with pine, grapefruit, toasted malt, spices, caramel, lemon and peachy notes. I even got a bit of pebber from those hops. Finished seriously bitter. This one simply gets better and better. A master piece!

3.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Considering my ratings on Mikkeller Hop Juice and rated xx 2008, i thought this one would be a winner aswell. However, i think this one finally made me reach my limits regarding bitterness in a beer. The aroma is awsome though, what else can it be with all those different hops playing in, the flavor on the other hand was extermly dry and bitter (not suprisingly) but last years version, though bitter aswell, seemed alot more drinkable. Oh well, still definetly worth the experience.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle at Ørsted Ølbar. Cloudy brown - offwhiet head. High hoppy and rather high malty, resin, bitterness, high bitterness, grass, pine, fruity, peaches, grape, citrus, flowery, peppery, dark fruits, caramel, light dark bread, light nutty, dusty, lots of baking yeast - again.... and lots of bitterness. Not very balanced - a bit unpleasant.
