Adenila (619), Denmark Aug 9, 2008 Hazy dark amber with a baige head. The hob aromas greets you as soon as the bottle is opened and there is simply too much going on in there for me to describe, but i absolutly loved the aroma. Flavor is indeed bitter, but the wonderfull hop flavors just follows you throughout. It seems to be less sweet and malty than some other imp ipas, but i like that, so this one is a winner for me. Enmandslauget (19), Fredericia, Denmark Jun 16, 2008 Kraftig smag af gran, gras og citrus humle. Karamel og sødlig frugt. Medium/fuld krop. Meget gran i eftersmag. Sødlig men meget tør. Ingen fornemmelse af alkohol
fiulijn (5860), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Jun 6, 2008 Updated: Jul 4, 20082008-06-22, bottle, 8-5-8-5-16=42 Hazy dark amber color with red shades; creamy head. It has a very nice hop aroma, fruity and earthy, also some yeast. Full bodied, with a very strong caramel flavor, herbal candies, sweet enough; it has a strong bitterness, with citrusy and resiny hops. Very good.
2008-05-16, bottle at Ølfestival 2008, Århus, 7-5-7-4-15=38 Hazy amber color; creamy head. Earthy hops aroma. Good body, bold caramel flavor and bold bitterness; differently from others, this one has a sharp cheesy touch at the end! The final starts becoming a bit harsh too. Strange but good. rickgordon (3060), Göteborg, Sweden Jul 12, 2008 Grand Tasting RBESG08.
Hazy amber colour with big head. Incredibly nice hoparoma, with lots of flowers and tropical fruits. It better be, since a bilion different hops were used. Great balance of malts an hops here, which isn’t always an easy task with 2IPA’s. This is a big, almost crazy beer with solid salty hopbitterness.
ante (2473), Stockholm (Bromma), Sweden May 8, 2008 Bottled, thanks to Baggio!. Pours out in a hazy orangey amber colour with a rich sticky white foam. Huge hop-aroma of grapefruity and resinous hops with touches of lychee, bloodgrape and cherry-skins with sweet undertones of peaches, caramel and guava. Almost full-bodied with a massive onslaught of resinous, floral and grapfruity hops with strong notes of grass, nectarines and blackberries. long grapefruit and grassy finish with touches of resin, peaches and mild caramel. At 200+ IBU’s, this is a hop-junkie’s fix...
