English: Reepicheep, the most noble of all noble mice. And proof that even if you may be small you can indeed still come with quite a sting. Reepicheep’s sting was his sword. In the beer we brewed in his honor the sting is the hops. Although the beer is a modest Wheat Ale (36% wheat in the malt bill) we - once again - went a little overboard with the hops with no less than 7 additions within just half an hour. And then our usual, massive dryhopping - of course. So for those who think that a wheat beer mostly resembles a banana split with a dash of cloves we’re only glad to prove you wrong.

Ingredienser: Vand. Malt: Pilsner, Hvede. Humle: Simcoe, Cascade, Amarillo, Summit, Chinook, Citra. Gær: US-ale

Sample on tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Golden colour, moderate white head. Lovely hoppy aroma of tropical fruits, also citrus. Light bodied and refreshing, medium dry and distinctly hoppy flavour, again with notes of tropical fruits and citrus, and a solid resinous bitterness in the finish.

On tap at Fermentoren, Aarhus. A lightly unclear beer, yellow in color and with a white head. Lots of apricots in the aroma, with citrus peel and pale malts. The flavor has a nice bitterness in addition to all the other hoppy goodyness, with peaches, citrus peel and a generic tropical fruityness. Pale malts as a backdrop. It’s dry and full-bodied, with a nice carbonation level. Lasting hop dominated finish. A thirst quencher and refresher that slides down very easily. Should be repeated. 140804

Keg @Cimmeria, Oviedo. 29-11-2014.
In short: hoppy "witbier".
Pours quite clear golden, with frothy white head. Citrusy, fruity aromas. Light body, high carbonation, crispy texture. Taste is some fruity, subtle wheat character, moderate bitterness developed with tempering. Seems like a witbier with a generous hop punch. Refreshing and enjoyable.

On tap @ Henrik. This is a near clear looking golden one with a nice hefty lacing white head on the top. Fruity, and it has a really peachy aroma level this! Tropical, lots of sweet mango and red apples. A really fresh aroma on this. Mmmm.. Lovely. Yeah, this I drink lots of could. In the mouth it’s light oily, not thin but a tad light and soft to average on the carbonation. Mild citrus, a little bitter peel. After a while there’s hay, hop pellets and almost a little tea like dryness in the end. Quite a nice lightdrinkable ipa/pale ale this with a lovelt aroma 17.10.2014

Tap at Mikkeler Bangkok. Poured a hazy medium amber with a frothy white head and lots of broken lace. The aroma is big yeast, light malt. The flavour is moderate to strong bitter witn a rich crispy big yeast, mineral, peppermint hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

On tap @ Henrik, Bergen. Pours a slightly hazy light orange body with a large creamy white head. Nose is red fruits, wheat, peaches, apricot and hints of caramel. Taste is bitter herbs, red berries, apricot, straw and hints of wheat and resin. Light body, medium carbonation. A bit on the bitter side for a wheat ale in my opinion, but fair enough.
