Tap @ CBF 2010.
Pours muddy yellow-orange with a small, staying, creamy, off-white head. Fine lacings. Aroma has lots of yeast, light spiciness, some resiny and fruity hops. Highish carbonation, okay dry mouthfeel, but still far too spritzy. Flavour has a lot of yeasty cardboard, light metallic notes and fat maltiness. Some spicy notes from the rye and a good, bitter hoppy finish in the end. Flawed.

Deep brown color. Mild aroma, roasted malt, but also perfumy hop. Strong flavor of dark chocolate, roasted malt; strong bitterness. The roasted malt is more evident in the end. There is a very light residual sweetness, and warming alcohol. Strong ending bitterness. Not very Rug, but very good dark IPA.

Sampled @ Copenhagen Beer Festival 2010. Hazy orange body with a big, creamy off-white head. Aroma is citric fruity and a bit perfumed. Sweet and citric fruity flavor with much bitterness, still gives a complex hop impression without too much malt flavor and some yeast. The malt is mostly a bit sweet and not to obvious. Long and bitter finish. Rough and nice.

Fairly nice foamy off-white head that mostly lasted. Fair display of lacework. Golden color. Aroma of light dusty malt, citrus, light floral notes, and mild hoppy notes as well. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and light dry texture. Moderated bitter flavor with good counter sweetness. Quite bitter and dry finish.

On tap at KØ-10. A hazy, golden-orange beer topped by a finger-thick off-white head leaving lacings. Perfumed, flowery and citrusy nose. The flavor has biscuity malts in the back, with citrusy, resiny and slightly flowery flavors up front. Lots of bitterness. Full-bodied and slightly warming. Resiny, bitter finish. A nice beer, but sort of demanding to drink. Would like to repeat it some times though. 100506
