COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: Amager Rye Porter is the result of fruitful cooperation between the best of Danish and American brewing cultures. It’s base is made of hard roasted malts and 16% rye. It adds a fantastic sweetness, and a titillating spicy edge, which, combined with a subtle and balanced acidity, is reminiscent of rye bread. This is not a beer for the weak, we’re pleased with the outcome and hope you will be too

Simply amazing. Deep cocoa and sweet chocolate, fresh cereals and black bread aromas. Perfect bittersweet taste, with hints of coffee, cream and toffee in the back. Impressive, probably the best imperial porter I’ve ever tasted.

Draught at the Ukkometso, Tampere, Finland. Dark brown almost black colour with a small light tan head. Lactic sweetness, hoppy bitterness, roasted malt and liquorice in the aroma. The flavour is bitterness, hops, vanilla sweetness, liquorice, mild coffee and malt. Soft carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

18.12.2013. Tuoksu paahteinen, kahvinen, viljainen, intensiivinen. Maussa ensin kahvia, sitten makeahkoa mallasta, kermaisuutta, lopussa hieman katkeroa.

Flaska på paddys - mörk som natten med härligt brunt skum. Söt maltsoft. Tydliga brända toner i smaken och en försiktig beska. Påminner lite om kaffe.

Tap@Konttori, Tampere, Finland. Medium aroma with salty licorice and some vanilla. Black reddish color with small/medium beige head. Ultra-strong taste dominating bit bitter salty licorice. Licorice, some roasted malts and hint of dark chocolate and vanilla. Wide taste spectrum and medium aftertaste with malts and licorice. Balanced. Strong body with light carbonation. Overall perfect Imperial Porter with own touch, though almost stout. Could have more roasted flavors.

Tap@urho. Black dark brown, cream light tan head. Nutty soft roasty malty nose, herbs, pine, or something bit different- sort of wintergreen vanilla. Full bodied, salmiak licorice. Bitter, almost harsh, weren’t it for tye massive sweets. Confusing beer. Flavourful, and pretty nice really, but strange. ...the vanilla, the pines.

Draught. Black in color with a nice tan head. Quite strong roasted notes with coffee here, some sweeter ones too, feels like some dark fruits would be behind these. Lushy licorice and whiffs of smokey rye notes later on. Smoothish mouthfeel. Roasted coffee and dark chocolate with kind of soft spicy rye-breadyish notes in taste. Light nutty, some sweeter licorice and slightly vinous dark fruity vibes appears towards the finish.
