COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Danish: Ved juletid er det helt i orden at være hemmelighedsfuld og overraske hinanden. Og Amager Bryghus er ingen undtagelse, da vi gerne vil glæde jer. Gennem det seneste år har vi derfor holdt skjult, at vi har lagret en unik øl af quadrupel-typen i vores kælder. Vi har lagret den på egetræ og grannåle, og smagen går i den sødlige retning, mens næsen får tankerne hen på moden frugt, eg, slik og marcipan.
I samarbejde med vores hjælpenisser har vi dermed brygget det eksklusive bryg, du har her i hånden, og som er så julet, at selv Julemanden kun drikker den på de allerhelligste dage. Secret Santa er fyldt med de allerbedste råvarer. Der er ikke mange flasker Secret Santa, en øl så hemmelig, at den knapt nok eksisterer – så det var ikke med hjælpenissernes gode vilje, at vi fik lov til at udgive den. Flå den derfor ned af hylderne, hvis du skulle være så heldig at finde den. Du vil ikke blive skuffet, men måske en lille smule bimmelim, idet den holder hele 10,5% alkohol.
Ingredienser: Det gode kommunevand fra Amager, bygmalt, mørk sirup, kandissirup, rørsukker, humle og trappistgær.
English: At Christmas it’s okay to be secretive and surprise each other. And Amager Brewery is no exception as we want to rejoice. Over the past years we have therefore concealed the fact that we have matured a unique beer of quadrupel type in our basement. We have stored it in oak and pine needles, and the flavor is in the sweet direction, while the nose gets reminiscent of ripe fruit, oak, sweets and marzipan.
In collaboration with our help, goblins, we thus brewed the exclusive brew, you have here in hand and are so julet that even Santa Claus only drink it on the holiest day. Secret Santa is filled with the finest ingredients. There are not many bottles of Secret Santa, a beer so secret that it barely exists - so it was not with the help nissernes good will that we were allowed to publish it. Rip it off the shelves, therefore, should you be lucky enough to find it. You will not be disappointed, but maybe a little bit bimmelim, keeping the entire 10.5% alcohol.

Det här var en trevlig upplevelse som både var god och komplex. Smaken bar toner av jäst och krydda. Slutsats: spännande och god sak.

On tap cardinal. Amberred color with low foam. Nose is fresh marsipan, hp sauce, malty and sweetness dark fruits. Taste is alcoholic, dried fruits, more hp sauce

Spicy - spruce, mint, vanilla, wood. Pleasant, well balanced. A winter warmer on speed!

On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours murky dark brown with a small creamy white head. Aroma of sweet, dark fruits and caramel. Taste is warm with spices and lots of dark fruits, christmas spice and caramel, light tart, oak. Smooth and filling body

On tap at Cardinal. Murky deep amber orange body with a small tan colored head. Sweet and spicy nose and mouth. Green apples present. Pungent and full bodied.

500 ml bottle, from the brewery. ABV is 10.5%, Hazy dark brown colour, moderate off-white to beige head. Interesting aroma of fir needles, berries, Christmas spices and oak. The flavour is sweet and oaky, and I can’t deny that the alcohol is noticeable. Moderate notes of fir or pine needles, also dark dried fruits, mild spices and brown kandij sugar. Warming mouthfeel. Lovely stuff, really, but it is perfectly all right to share the bottle.

2e gången: Mörk brun, vitt-lätt gult skumm. Jästig aroma, aningen söt. Rund smak som sticker iväg precis på slutet.

500 ml bottle. Pours deep amber, a bit cloudy with orange-white head. Smells sweet with notes of dark fruit and sugar, hints of something piney. Taste is a bit tangy, malty, alcohol. Piney and tangy bitterness in the aftertaste.

Aroma of yeast, sugar and mint. Taste is almost like soap and sweet raspberries, way too sweet. Aftertaste of sweet cain sugar but almost non-excisting. Beer is orange and cloudy with no head.

@ basunen: liten talldoft. Smaken är lite parfymerad och söt med små talltoner och lite krydda.
