COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English. In this interpretation of a Saison we let two different beer cultures collide. Hopefully both get out of here alive… Hopped with Tomahawk, Amarillo and Citra. Dry-hopped with Amarillo and Citra. Fermented with a Dupont yeast strain

Draught@CPH BF 2013. Slightly hazy deep orange colour, small white creamy head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is fruity, hoppy, mild catpissy notes along with some wooden and nectary notes. Flavour is nice fruity and floral notes along with some resin and wood as well as a nice maltyness to back it up. Kind of IPA meets Saison over this beer.

On tap at Cardinal. An unclear, dark golden beer with a finger-thick, creamy, off-white head leaving lacings. Peaches, pine cones and a light peppery hint in the aroma. The flavor is bitter and grassy, with malty sweetness in the back. Fruity too. Full-bodied and nicely carbonated. Bitter finish with tropical fruits. Overall, it’s too sweet, but it’s still a nice one. 131019

500 ml bottle at Cardinal. Almost clear golden/orange body with a light, lacing off-white head. Aroma is fruity and spicy with dry fruit and caramel. Flavor is sweet caramel malt, fruit, spices, bitter and some alcohol. Quite solid in body with a long and rather sweety aftertaste. Tasty, but feels like almost too much of everything for a Saison

omhper (19381) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - OCT 10, 2013
Draught at SBWF. Almost clear amber, rich head. Aroma of bubblegum and elderflowers. Sweet and fruity with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Full of heavy flavours with focus on modern hops and bubblegum. Far distanced from traditional saisons, and with low drinkability.

On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Hazy orange to amber colour, large off-white head. Strong and attractive aroma of fruity (esp. oranges) American hops, also spicy saison yeast. The flavour is medium sweet but still crisp and spicy, the saison yeast blends remarkably well with the citrussy American hops. A distinct bitterness in the finish. Good stuff, a pity Cardinal has only 2 kegs.

Tap at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2013 - Day 2, Session 1. Pours clearish gold with a fine, white cream head. Sugary fruits in the nose, grapefruit, melon, other tropical fruits. Medium to big sweet flavor with rich tropical fruit character, light citrus rind, hints of pine. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Lightly resinous on the finish with sticky citrusy fruits. Pretty sweet. A bit heavy overall but very tasty.

Draught at Fermentoren. Orange-salmon-brown with a high, fine head. Fruity, yeasty nose with some esters, grapefruit, mango, and peach. Sweet and estery flavor, bread, honey, grapefruit, peach. A bit funky, and just a little too estery.
