COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: Maybe you feel it already, when the cap is removed and you put your nose to the bottle - this " Stout " smells different than what you are accustomed to. We have dry hopped this stout in the late stages of fermentation using the American noble varieties of Nugget , Centennial and Cascade, which allow the floral tones that make this a characteristic Stout - flavours of roasted malt give both lightness and freshness.
The glass appears Sundby Stout black , while the head is tight, light brown and almost cappuccino creamy, the tongue senses both malt sweetness, hints of bitter dark chocolate and English liquorice. Sweetness, however, cleverly balances the hard roasted malt and the split , umalted and roasted barley , which both help to give beer its roasted flavor. Sundby Stout is a classic " Stout ", which nonetheless dares to be different and challenge convention.
Ingredients: Water, barley malt , hops, and yeast

DuffMan (6168) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - APR 17, 2014
Bottle, shared during our epic night at MicroBar in Reykjavik, with Arnie and Stein. Very dark brown with a dense tan head. Aroma immediately off the pour has some floral and coniferous hop notes, but these are quickly lost to a rich roasty aroma. The palate is medium-bodied, but richly flavoured, with milk chocolate, light coffee, and hints of liquorice. Delicious.

CanIHave4Beers (2908) - Pouring Bus, Iowa, USA - APR 17, 2014
Pours basically black with a small head and nice lacing on the glass.

The aroma is nicely roasty with some light raisin, it’s got a mild hoppness and a soft sweetness to it.

The flavor is nicely bitter, it’s certainly a bit more hop forward than a typical stout but by no means does it take the happiness out of character for the style. It’s got some light raisin like sweetness but the finish is dry and it’s got a nice lingering bitterness.

ogreface (1333) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JAN 30, 2014
Kellemes, beszélgetős stout a jobbak közül, ami rendkívül könnyen csúszik.
