3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Rated on 5-09-2009 (Bottle) This beer pours a very bubbly tan head with a short retention, mostly opaque dark brown body, fair amount of lacing, and slow rising carbonation. The Aroma is malty, dark chocolate, coffee, roasty, and floral hops. The Taste is sweet, lightly bitter, malty, coffee, chocolate, roasty, hoppy and finishes dry. The Palate is smooth and this beer is light-medium bodied. In conclusion, this beer is easy to drink, worth trying, and is a beer I would drink again.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sehr dunkelbraunes Stout mit fast weißer Cappuccino-Crema. Feines Röstkaffeearoma. Leichter, halbtrockener Antrunk. Neben dem Röstmalz und dem Kaffee kommt auch Kakao und Zartbitterschokolade zum vorschein. Die leichte Süße erhöhte die Süffigkeit, allerdings mangelts an Tiefe und Komplexität.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours dark brown with thin tan head. Light smell of coffee and malts. Taste is similar to the aroma and flavor enhances when left to the air for a bit. Slightly watery mouth feel and short flavor.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
24/05 A 0.5l bottle, another one from ogivlado’s trade, thanks for sharing! It had almost black body with small brown head atop. Surely, coffee is dominating in its aroma, although it has lots of dark chocolate, and other heavily roasted malts making it really nice. Bitter coffee flavor at first, then, as in aroma, secondary flavors come that round it up. Medium (to full ? - messy note) bodied with long sweetish coffee, milky and chocolate finish. Hops? Decent although simple(?), very pleasant stout.
