Well balanced stout the brings aroma of dark fruits, and a taste of bitter dark chocolate, supplemented by liquorice and roasted coffee beans (12.09.2008). cellar (386), Dublin, Ireland Sep 28, 2008 EBF: Pitch black with tiny cafe au lait head. Strong burned malty aroma of dark chocolate, coffee and liqourice with notes of hops and spices. Flavour is sweet witt long bitter end. lghansen (24), Denmark Aug 24, 2008 This was an American stout, black with a tan head. It didn’t pour with a big head, but it was quite bubbly, you could hear the bubbles whn you drank it, and the head lasted quite a long time. The taste was bitter with hints of chocolate and lemon (perhaps due to the Cascade hops), and a slightly bitter aftertaste; in a word, burnt. Just average for a stout. bierkoning (4932), La Tropica, Netherlands Aug 18, 2008 Bottle from thewolf, thanks! Deep dark brown color. Opague. Strong malt and licorice aroma.
