(Bottled) Almost black with a smallish, beige head. Very pleasant aroma with roasted malt, roasted nuts and licorice. Salty-licoricey flavor with roasty, lightly burned malt. Medium-bodied, slightly sticky palate with soft carbonation. A very pleasant, balanced, salty and tasty stout.

Jul 3, 2008 Black colour with mediumsized brown head. Aroma is roasted malty with coffee and american hops notes. Flavour is nuts, roasted malts, smoked, coffee and some slight chocolate.

Jet black, with a creamy beige head which settles to something just fizzy. Soft sweet subtle coffee aroma. Dry burnt taste, some coffee, and a bit oily. Slight fizz to the palate spoils it a little - needs swirling. No trace of alcohol at all. Finish is the dry burnt grains again, but they’re a bit too burnt.

Jun 8, 2008 Bottle 50 cl. . The nose is light with notes of hops, dried fruites and roasted coffeé. The taste is sweet and bitter with a smooth and creamy palate. The brown head quickly disappear but the hoppy bitterness combined with tha taste of laquorice stays with you for a long time. A fairly good stout.
