Stefano (939), Esbjerg, Denmark Jul 3, 2008 Black colour with mediumsized brown head. Aroma is roasted malty with coffee and american hops notes. Flavour is nuts, roasted malts, smoked, coffee and some slight chocolate. FatPhil (1960), Espoo, Finland Jun 20, 2008 500ml bottle (Pikkulintu, Helsinki)
Jet black, with a creamy beige head which settles to something just fizzy. Soft sweet subtle coffee aroma. Dry burnt taste, some coffee, and a bit oily. Slight fizz to the palate spoils it a little - needs swirling. No trace of alcohol at all. Finish is the dry burnt grains again, but they’re a bit too burnt. MiP (4744), Flensburg, Germany Jun 10, 2008 ÅBF, 6.2%. Fruity roasted aroma. Good roasted flavour. Mild and nice. Black colour, very small head. Very nice. Good coffee aftertaste. lassem (61), Copenhagen, Denmark Jun 8, 2008 Bottle 50 cl. . The nose is light with notes of hops, dried fruites and roasted coffeé. The taste is sweet and bitter with a smooth and creamy palate. The brown head quickly disappear but the hoppy bitterness combined with tha taste of laquorice stays with you for a long time. A fairly good stout. EHSRanders (654), Randers C, Denmark Jun 2, 2008 Bottle. Murky black colour with medium light brown mostly lasting head. Aroma ia roasted malt with notes of chocolate.
