COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Danish: På det seneste har vi eksperimenteret en del med dobbeltmæskning – altså, at lave en øl på øl. The Days Of Barley And Roses er netop sådan en dobbeltmæsket øl.

Tap at CBC 2014. Beer in the glass copper colored, small head. Mild fruity-berry aroma. Starts quite sourish, sharp, light fruity. More and more moldy. Not my favourite.

Countbeer (4427) - Best of E-Town mit ein Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - SEP 13, 2014
Bottle: Served in a Chouffe glass: Small creamy head/thick lacing. Cloudy dark orange brown to dark ruby body. Aromas of barley malts, vinous, yeast, grapes, wood, light toast, light marzipan, strange creamy liquor tones and some perfume, honey and caramel. Flavours of barley malts, vinous, grapes, some berries (not tart), bitters, tobacco, wood, bit alcohol, some toast, bitter, some plastic ish tones. Aftertaste is a mix of barley malts, light wood, light toast, some vinous and liquor tones and a light bitter touch. Low carbo, creamy oily mouthfeel, medium to fuller bodied and a oily sticky texture. Not bad but bit unbalanced.

Bottle, pours dark brown with off white head. Aroma is malty with fine alcohol and oak. Flavor is very malty with some strong alcohol notes. Would properly improve with age.

Bottle at home. Medium high creamy lasting off-white head. Cloudy dark orange brown body. Relatively sweet dried fruit raisin prune aroma. Distinct raisin prune cocoa flavor with wineous notes. Low carbonation. Little hops bitterness. Long sweet finish. Alcohol well hidden. A tru pleasure.

UPDATED: AUG 13, 2014 Bottle at home. Slightly hazy copper with a lasting off-white head. Wonderful, ever-so-slightly oxidized barley wine aroma of dried fruit, dessert wine, bready malt and alcohol. Sweet and rich flavour of malt and dried fruit, with a fruity tartness that maybe related to the barrel aging. I have tasted better barley wines, but only a few

Bottle. Pours ruby deep golden with a creamy beige head. The aroma is loaded with malt with notes of ripe fruit, biscuits, crackers, port, berries and oak. The flavor has a light sourish vinous feel with a load of sweet malt and ripe fruit and berries. Very intense.

Bottle @ Vinoble Dalumvej, Odense. Pours cloudy dark amber with a creamy head and lacings. Sweet malty and yeasty nose and flavor with a whisper of dusty citrus hops and wood. Sticky, oily and dry. Def. Some warming alcohol. Dark dried fruit - prune, raisins and phat caramel. Not the most profound but enjoyable!
