COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: Cain is said to have murdered his brother out of envy. At Amager Bryghus we believe that murder is taking things a bit far. However, we admit to being envious because we weren’t the first brewer to come up with the beer style we admire the most: a crisp and hopped up West Coast IPA. We won’t kill anybody because we didn’t come up with the idea first, instead we present to you “Envy” - our take on this style. Humble – yet envious.
We’re not proud to be sinners, but at least we’re open about it…

Brewed from: Pilsener and Munich malts. Hopped with Amarillo, Simcoe and Centennial and fermented with an American ale yeast.

Bouteille. Moustache Blanche. Robe jaune trouble , mousse blanche peu persistante. Nez de caramel et de mangue. Bouche caramel , bien fruitée sur la mangue et le zeste de mandarine. Amertume bien présente et longue. Finale sèche et résineuse. Une ipa très agréable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Apex. Pour is clear yellow with a big white head and great lacing. Stale bready, hay, dirty hoppy, earthy, and caramelly aroma. Taste is sweet lemons, hay, bread, straw and grass with a light bitter finish. Light body with high carbonation. Not very good.

Hazy gold beer, tidy off white head. Palate is light and a little crisp. Airy malt, little cream. Grapefruit bitterness contrasts with honey floralness. Light touches of hard candy sweets and sherbet. Smooth bitter finish. Interesting and tasty!

Bottle shared by Marcus. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma is what I call celery. Med body. Flavor is very herb/veg over mild caramel. Quite clean. Alternatively it’s earthy citrus with a strong hop bite. Finishing very bitter.

Draft sample. Poured a hazy copper color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate complex hop aroma. Medium to abundant body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. My expectations where surpassed.

50cl bottle. Clear pale golden pour, frothy white head. Floral and citrusy nose, taste is very hoppy with floral notes. Very crisp IPA, with lots of fruity taste. Medium body, average carbonation. Long finish, with bitterness most apparent end the very end.
