COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: At the Amager brewery we are comfortably situated far away from small-town modesty; we are not afraid of excess, and the term “moderation” is simply not found in our vocabulary. To us, gluttony is considered a virtue rather than a sin - at least when it comes to one thing: hops! While making this beer we targeted the hops which shone brightest in our hop room, as if they were almost begging to be used in copious quantities. And that is what we did, as befits a Double IPA of the highest caliber. We have squandered to a sinful degree - and we love it. And we bet that you will too!
We’re not proud to be sinners, but at least we’re open about it…

Mniam

500 ml bottle. Pours a cloudy golden yellow with white head. A dull tropical aroma of passionfruit & pineapple. a smooth, slightly fruity and hoppy taste before being smacked with a hit of bitterness and mild carbonation. Certainly achieves what it sets out to.

500 ml bottle at home, from the Hoppy Pub, Thessaloniki. Light unclear, orange-golden color with nice white head. Aroma is hoppy, fruity, light citrusy pineapple, tropical fruits, pine, sweet malty too. Taste is sweet and bitter, caramel malty, hoppy fruity. Medium oily body with soft carbonation and bitter alcoholic finish.

damn, it’s really bitter! after a few sips it accumulates and twists your face - perfect. Still, the aroma is superb, and I didn’t feel alcohol at all despite the 9.4%. Some may say it’s one-dimensional - ok, partly yes, but that’s exactly to be expected. bull’s eye.
