English: At the Amager brewery we are comfortably situated far away from small-town modesty; we are not afraid of excess, and the term “moderation” is simply not found in our vocabulary. To us, gluttony is considered a virtue rather than a sin - at least when it comes to one thing: hops! While making this beer we targeted the hops which shone brightest in our hop room, as if they were almost begging to be used in copious quantities. And that is what we did, as befits a Double IPA of the highest caliber. We have squandered to a sinful degree - and we love it. And we bet that you will too!
We’re not proud to be sinners, but at least we’re open about it…

Bottle at Mallaskukko. Slightly hazy orange color, small white head. Aroma is intensive: citrus, gooseberry and mango. Medium-bodied to full-bodied. Grapefruity, mango fruityness. Intensive with long lingering bitterness. Warming alcohol. But drinkability is quite good.

500ml bottle. Whisky sour in colour with a slight wafer head. Interesting combination of alcohol, pine, orange and other citrusy hops and a nice malty backbone that seems mostly balanced although as the label states there is a lot of hops in this one and it is somewhat astringent. Moderate+ carbonation and full body, very slight hint of sweetness at first but then overwhelmed by a bitter, boozy and hoppy combination. Becomes dry with a citrus rind finish, pine and light booze.

(Bottle) Golden amber colour, slightly hazy, with frothy off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with orange marmalade, apricots, caramel, passion-fruit, grapefruit and generous aromas of resinous, citric hops. Malty, fruity, hoppy taste with notes of orange marmalade, pink grapefruit, passion-fruit, apricots, caramel and a solid citric, resinous bitterness in a finish with a slight alcohol bite. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness coming through. Quite bitter with an impressive hop presence backed up by a solid malt profile. Possibly not the most balanced beer I’ve tried, but very nice.

Bottle at the Sybarite Pig in Boca Raton, FL. Small snifter shared with Zach and Brooke. Golden amber pour with slight haze. Thin white head. Serious pine and pine resin aroma with malt presence. The taste was straight forward hoppiness with pine, pine resin, malt balance, earth and fresh grass. Tasted very fresh. Mouth was bitter, but balanced at the finish. Moderate carbonation and medium body. Not boozy. Great DIPA.

Thanks Tim and Rachel! Clear straw pour with a small white head. Once again, a faint pine a floral aroma with light citrus. Thicker bodied with similar flavor and a weird bold alcoholic pine pop at the end. Question of how old these things are and messy brewing. Farts.

Poured from a 22 ounce bomber. This is a big resinous hop bomb, grassy, sticky, pine, slight citrus. The malts are sweet and chewy, notes of caramel. I had a hard time with this beer.
