English: At the Amager brewery we are comfortably situated far away from small-town modesty; we are not afraid of excess, and the term “moderation” is simply not found in our vocabulary. To us, gluttony is considered a virtue rather than a sin - at least when it comes to one thing: hops! While making this beer we targeted the hops which shone brightest in our hop room, as if they were almost begging to be used in copious quantities. And that is what we did, as befits a Double IPA of the highest caliber. We have squandered to a sinful degree - and we love it. And we bet that you will too!
We’re not proud to be sinners, but at least we’re open about it…

Great beer with especially a delicious aroma. Very fruity and nice. More bitterness in aftertaste than aroma. Would like to have it again although one gets drunk after 1 single bottle..

50cl bottle. Light hazy gold with thick white head. Aroma gives loads of tangerine, sprucey pine, mango and thick pungent lemon rind (hello Sorachi Ace). Taste begins with pine needles and spruce, then comes sweet tangerine and mango, followed by lemon rind and lemongrass (really gets the back of your throat). Light biscuity malt in there as an afterthought. Heavy degree of bitterness - loads of pine needles and grapefruit. Tart lemons and pine needles in the aftertaste. No hint of the near-10% ABV - very quaffable. This is a great and unashamed hop bomb - Sorachi Ace does take over the other hop varietals, but it makes for a very interesting and fragrant drinking experience!

Orange look with a medium off-white head. Powerfull exotic hop aroma. Grapefruit, pineneedles, peach, mandarine and citrus. Oily palate. Loads of bitterness on a solid base of caramel sweetness and alchohol. Huge dipa.

@Ølfestival København 2013 - cloudy dark orange beer with a persistent white head; very hoppy with notes of apricots, peaches and cream; assertive, sticky and full-bodied; hugely bitter, very dry and conquering, tons of fruity hops in the finish - deeply good

500ml bottle. Hazy golden colour with average, frothy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Intense hoppy aroma, notes of grapefruit and citrus, a herbal touch, hints of resin. Taste is bitter hoppy, grapefruit, orange zest, a herbal note; really bitter, slightly biting, but still aromatic and multilayer hoppy finish.

Bottle from Barley Wine, Copenhagen. Pours hazy golden amber colour with an off-white head. Taste and aroma of fruity hoppy citrus. Grapefruit, apricot, pine among others with a sweet caramel malt character. Nice fruity finish. Seriously good stuff.

On tap at Henrik, Bergen. Pours a hazy dark orange colour with a small off-white head. Has a malty aroma with fruity hops, apricot and some pine. Hefty flavour of grassy hops, alcohol, grapefruit, resin and some spices. Rich and slick mouth feel, and has a medium to heavy bitterness. A powerful and nice DIPA.

0.5 l bottle from Systembolaget, Stockholm. Big head, hazy and light. Taste has fruits but most of all hops. Aftertaste is somewhat bitter but not too much. This is a strong beer, but you won’t taste the alcohol.
